I got into the office in season 2 on "The Injury" which is still one of my favorites. I wished and hoped for Jim and Pam all along and I love the season 3 finale. I try to write some stories of my own from time to time but mostly I read the stories here which are absolutely wonderful. There are many talented writers on this site who very clearly interpret what is happening on the show.

This story is so vivid and everything I want in a story. I can completely imagine all of this happening and I feel like I am in their shoes when I read this.

There are so many great lines to choose from in this story but I loved these:

Something inside of Jim sinks a little lower than he thought it could. He's ready to hand her those glasses when her vision goes blurry; ready to carry her to bed if she falls asleep on the couch; ready to cover her in blankets and put up with her if she steals them during her slumber

and:

"I guess. It could be fun. Yeah, I guess so," she says, nonchalantly striding away from him to the edge of the roof, wind whipping her hair. Her hands are in her back pockets and her spine is facing him; she's looking out over Scranton, and she thinks if she looks hard enough, she can see all the way back to the night she told him she couldn't

Good job and great, great chapter. I did not expect this at all, but I really love all this drama.

I still kind of feel bad for Karen, but I also hate her. I sure don't like how she took the medal though. Hmmm 

That explains why Jim didn't go back though, I can see him needing something else.

Very deep and lovely. A perfect glimpse into Pam's head. And I can definitely see Jim fretting over the idea of actually asking her. The ending was very real and fit well with the story too.
