Second - awww. I could see every moment in this chapter - from Jill sticking out her belly for suncreen to Jim placing his hand on Pam's. So lovely this whole thing.

Seven different ways to say I love you.10 This was absolutely lovely. Sweet and sexy and perfectly...them. I've got my fingers crossed for a sequel. ;)
He's playful and animated, quippy and sexy, and always, always just a little bit dark. This was beyond fantastic. The progression was perfect. I've felt like I have no idea who Karen is - but thank you for showing me. And of course - I adore the ulitmate outcome. :)

This is so close to how I would like to see this all play out. The possibilities are endless and the potential great. SIGH. I loved them all but Purple struck a particular chord w/me. Eons ago this guy I was crazy about once whispered something similar in my ear and though it didn't end well - I've never forgotten how it made me feel. Thanks so much for the reminder and the early Christmas gift. I can't wait to read more!
What a wonderful way to tie it all together in the end. When I peeked to see how many chapters you'd added and saw the word "Gold" I was hoping - and you didn't disappoint. I also adored Green. May have to do with the fact that I've been listening to holiday music all day. I cannot wait to see them that happy onscreen. 'Cause they have to be...someday...right?

10 Oh I love reading older stories again - totally like 'second drink'. :) This one is just as lovely as I remembered.
This is set several weeks post-Merger. No spoilers, all speculation.YES. This is what I want to see. I'm so desperate to have them talk everything out I feel like I have Pam reciting monologues whenever they are together. But NearlySilentPam and PissedOffJim are oh so much better!!!

I am so with you, girl - I want them to just get it all out. I don't even need a long sappy conversation like the ones I usually write (and BTW - I've found all of yours to be absolutely realistic and not at all monologue-ish); I'd be satisfied with a good screaming fight, so long as they could get to the bottom of things. ...And to bed, but that's another matter, now isn't it?

Jim and Karen take a trip to Montreal. Jim POV. First time fanfic period, so, you know, excuse the suckage. Wow. OK. Though the subject matter is like salt on a wound for someone as desperate for Jim/Pam love as I am (totally my issue - nothing at all to do with your writing - which was fantastic) I gotta tell you how absolutely incredible I thought this was.
I could see every moment of this story in my minds eye. You did a wonderful job making it real for me - because no one's really been able to convince me of the possibility until now. It made me sad and it really made me think.
And you're totally kidding with the first fic nonsense aren't you? 'Cause - if you've been hiding out - well that's nearly criminal. Really well done. Thanks for so much for posting.

In retrospect - on that night in particular - I really felt for both Jim and Jan. And so - pairing them this way works for me. It makes sense even if it makes me want to cry.
I hate to see them both so sad. I've got visions of Jan running around in my brain lately - particularly why in the world she'd get herself in so deep with Michael. I think you had some great insight on her character here.
Inspired by a quote from my first story, Labor Relations (the one that everyone was set to hate ;-). The quote was: "Would you freak out if I wanted to make a baby"...."Yes, because I really only had a craving for spaghetti tonight - nothing that exotic." This is just a little fluff piece about the night they decided to start "making babies".
When I read the mention of this conversation in Labor Relations this is just as I pictured it.
You're really good at the happy fluffiness. I mean...really good. So I think you should quit whatever else you're doing and just write it all day long. ;)

10 Oh yay!! I have a fondness for Christmas fic and this one was so sweet. All of the gifts you imagined were perfect for them. I esp. like any gift that's art related. I love the idea of Pam using her talents - or Jim acknowledging them.
The present hurts so much less when you think of what's happening now as the past and what you wrote here as their future.
