As I mentioned to NanReg, I'm creating a database for Project Peanut Butter. Bit of a deadline there because one of the doctors is leaving for Malawi in a couple of weeks. I, too, loved the line about Jim being obsessed with being love. And while this was Jim/Ryan, I really enjoyed the uneasy almost-disjoint between Jim and Pam.
Author's Response: thank you! yes - i want to give jim a lot of credit, but i fear that he's more about eternal love than something real and concrete. i know the destruction of jim and pam - especially because of RYAN - is a lot to swallow, and i appreciate the feedback.

Oh, I am so amazingly glad you are writing this. As a longtime SATC fan, I have always loved Berger, and it's fantastic to be able to read things from his point of view. Is it bad that I could really see all this happening? I love JAM as much as the next gal, but this is some pretty great material. Not to mention the writing is excellent, as well. You've captured that dry, cynical, sardonic tone that both characters employ so frequently. Keep going!
