That was a great chapter. Really a great one. Not sappy at all but a lovely moment in the lost summer.

One of my favorite lines that had me laughing "or maybe just bite him to make sure he’s real." Just a fabulous balance of humour and sexiness there.

I really love how you have them together. So very in character but in a way we've never seen them on the show. They've always been connected and the constellation analogy was damn sweet. As always, amazing work. Thank you for it.

I seriously could not love this more. You're delving into Pam's pysche in such an honest, lovely way. The freckle is the train that's taking us on the journey (cheesy, I know) and I love it.

It's the stories where Pam feels she missed her chance that grab me and make me hurt for her the most. I'm really looking forward to the S4&S5 chapters because it's giddy Pam that I can't wait to read about. Pam who has staked her claim and revels in it. You're rocking this fic, Colette. Thanks for writing it.

A Wonderful Life is one of my favorites as well...and the end ALWAYS makes me cry no matter how many times I watch it. Seriously, I am that much of a sap.

A life without Jim? Oh no. My worst nightmare. :) I'm really looking forward to reading this, it's a nice little Christmas present. You have a great set up, poor Jim is in a bad place right now, just like George. I can't wait to see who your Clarence is and how he turns him around. Exciting!

That was a wonderful little story and a great explanation of why Jim responds a certain way to aggressive authority. I enjoyed how you had Pam handle him in this as well. Their communication pattern seemed very in character and dialogue, real and original. Authority like that makes me tense and I'm curious how the show will play out this storyline. I'm hoping that this becomes a series delving into this aspect of Jim's character. I liked it very much. Thanks for sharing it.

That was really lovely. I agree with you about Roy. Not a bad man just not the right one for Pam. I enjoyed your story.

Author's Response: Thank you :) I like that Roy still randomly shows up sometimes, like in Crime Aid, and there\'s no animosity between him and Jim. And I\'m also very glad they gave Karen a good ending and that she\'s happy too.

I could feel Jim's tension leave when he was interacting with Pam. They have a wonderful chemistry in this story. Very much like the show, well done with your characterization. I enjoyed Jim's thought process about his life and career and how he's willing to stick with a job that might not be his dream but allows him through it to achieve another. Lovely.

I\'m glad you enjoyed hearing Jim\'s inner-thoughts and how even though his job is such a drag lately, he\'s willing to endure it for his life with Pam. John & Jenna have amazing chemistry, and it bugs me that we don\'t get to see them interacting on screen as much. This helped. :)

I was not expecting this at all. What a wonderful little gem. I saw angst and I was afraid to click it but I'm really glad that I did. You've created a very believable concept here from the show's history.

I love Pam's take charge mom, Pam's fear, and Jim's uncertainty. Great last line as well. Thanks for the read!
