This story is so heartbreaking, but I love it. Jim is a wonderfully devoted family man, and it's so lovely how Pam and Cece are uppermost in his mind. Pam's reluctance to face the worst possible scenario while Jim insists on it is such a great image of their love. I adored when Jim said "I asked Pete to take care of everything." Even though his brother can be a real tool, I like that Jim has family he can count on when the going gets rough. I look so forward to seeing what happens next. Please update soon.

Damn. And wow. And did I mention damn? This is so... intimate and sensual. The narrative is lovely and poetic. You've got a great way of showing a big picture with very few words, which is a real gift in writing.
So if the first chapter is all about different aspects of their sex life, how about one on the different ways they fight, perhaps? Or maybe how they react to certain things from the past? Whatever you come up with, I'm eager to read it.

Oh lord, Jim with a shaved head... he needs to be careful about what he promises to that little girl... and I love how observant she is. So smart!

It's a real talent to be able to express so much in a small space and you've got that. For each part, here's what I really appreciated:

1. The thought that she would leave Roy if she weren't pregnant, but then she doesn't. I felt a sense of regret there, but also a sense that she would have regretted leaving. In one sentence, you convey a very profound emotional conflict.

2. Wait, so Pam was pregnant? Whoa... what an interesting idea, if she had been or thought she was and there was a deeper reason she said "I can't" to Jim.

3. I loved how eager Jim was. It's very typical to have him do the "take your time, it's up to you" thing, and I loved his "indulge my curiosity."

4. Pam referring to Jim as her husband, even if they aren't legally married yet. I just... loved that.

Okay, cannot actually remember whether the story is complete. It seems like it is. But I'd love to see a series of this style of story from you, addressing different experiences. Just a suggestion. This was a lovely read.

Oh my, you sneak! You had me thinking Jim was going to give up on Pam and I was wondering how they'd make their way back and then there she is.

This was lovely, with beautiful use of metaphor. Is it over? I can't remember. I sincerely hope not, though this would hold strongly on its own. But I want more!

This is so well, written, very initmate... I loved the part about "you had your epiphany, but I knew always" and the image of the two of them curled up on the sofa.
