This is awesome -- I seriously love stories where part of their happiness involves getting out of DM. It makes sense for the characters but it's something you'd never see on the show (for obvious reasons), so I'm always happy to see it integrated into a good story.

Nice! It's really fun to see some kinks in Jim/Pam smut, and you wrote these very well. I especially like the way Pam becomes more comfortable as they go on, but that her *dis*comfort is a turn-on for him at first.

So cute! And I love the way you set the scene in the beginning, letting the reader figure out what's going on through context clues.

OMG, *awesome*. These all sound so perfect, though I think my favorite is Brother Creed's. Jim's has that totally canon note of irony at the end, though, which is great.

Oh, this is SO good. I felt it all -- the heat and humidity, Pam's little frustrations and elations at work, the phone conversations that sometimes you want and sometimes you don't (ugh, I did LD for a summer and I remember getting to the point of "do we really have to talk more? I'm not missing you" -- even though I married the guy in the end). And so many details I can't pull them all out, except I liked that her Utica roommate had no sense of humor, I liked that Jim is too scared to take the subway, I liked her sticking pins into him, and I like that she's still the woman who will now see what's wrong and do something about it.

Author's Response: thank you for your thoughtful feedback! im really glad you liked it.  one point that's important for me is that i think pam's 3 months in ny will be amazing for her - i predict FNB will become even fancier, due to being away and experiencing all that she will while on her own.  i hope it makes her run outside in the rain and propose to him, or you know, similar :) i think transitions are hard, in general, whether you're going from being physically close to being far away, or vice versa.  i said this before, but it's really about growing pains.  it's a little sad but important.  again, thank you!

Oh, I LOVE this, especially because you chose interesting and unusual POVs. I love how Oscar feels marooned in an sea of inanity (and how even when he talks to someone normal, it still gets ruined).The Kelly section flows so well in the way she jumps from subject to subject, and her email is adorable. And Dwight determinedly calling because the internet knows too much, haha, and I've totally thought Meredith and Toby would make a great couple as single parents (and something about the dentist detail just feels so brilliant and natural). And the end... man. Toby is, in fact, the kind of guy who still wouldn't be happy even if he ran away to a tropical paradise. I just really love that, in the end, everyone misses Toby for their own reasons because they can get something from him, and even Pam and Jim only vaguely worry about him (I LOVE that Jim stopped hanging out with Toby because Toby was depressed and therefore kind of a drag). It just makes me love and miss him all the more myself. :)

I just, after the last year, wanted to write something sort of positive about Toby, where he was nice and intelligent and a good listener and not just some guy who got rid around Pam towards the end. I like writing Toby and Meredith together (not so much as a couple - I mostly ship Toby with Kelly) because they do have similar experiences and would be able to share things like horror stories about exes and dentist recommendations for kids. I don\'t think Toby will be instantly happy there in his tropical paradise either which makes me sad, because I love him so much myself too (and will miss him)! Thank you again.

Oh, I really like this! Especially the way that Darryl makes everyone back off her so easily -- he's just such a natural leader, and of course Madge would see that.
