Author's Response: Honestly? I have no idea. LOL! I just kept thinking it had to be something easy and casual and quiet. Not a fancy restaurant w/the ring in the dessert or anything like that and viola. I just started to write and it seemed to fit. I\'m very glad you thought so too.

That song is perfect for Jam! Nice lead-in. I love this: "he always had this acute sense of her gaze when it landed of his skin" - I like thinking that Jim recognized Pam's feelings for him, even if Pam didn't really have a clue. I love this fic!

I'm just going to warn you now that that's how every one of my reviews will probably start. Billy Stamford! Ahhh... I like how you use the characters we know, but they're not OUR characters - Kevin the dispatcher doesn't seem a lot like Kevin the accountant, and I think it's great. I like seeing how they could be given other circumstances and I can't wait to run into the others!!

Also, this mystery has me totally hooked. You're amazing.

I love the intro and how you describe Jim and the way he perceives his life. Also, this? “I’ve always wanted to say that. After I killed someone. Preferably a zombie.” Is awesome. Using such short sentences is an interesting style - I prefer longer and more descriptive sentences, like say, combining a couple of them - but I think it works for your story. The ending is hilarious when written that way.
