i really love this. I like that  you resolved things with Karen in New York in the first chapter, then we got to see contemplative Jim in the car on the way to Scranton. Of course we all know what happens after that :) but I like the end and the map and just how cute they are together. Jim telling himself to focus... then not so hard. it was just very funny. as are all of his thoughts. especially this: Hey, did she just look at my... mouth? I can so see Jim being kinda freaked out by that. this is sweet and i can't wait to see more :)

i knew as soon as i read the name of this that Michael would be on the list, but you outdid yourself. i really love the interview. you wrote Michael very well. 

Author's Response: Michael could make everyone hate their name. Thanks for saying I wrote him well though, that means a lot. He is so challenging to write. And so much of that comes from the amazing people who helped me think of Pam-names, because, yeah, I didn't come up with anything good.

This is interesting. He's not the sweet Jim Halpert we all know and love, but I kinda like it. It almost seems like a serious possibility in my mind now. So, you did a great job of writing this convincingly, and I can't wait to see where you take this. 

Author's Response: Oh, roj, now I watch all the new episodes with the thought in the back of my mind that Jim may or may not be a retired mafia hitman. Sure makes some of the scenes interesting, such as the sudden mysterious disappearance of Karen who had said she would not leave her job just because of him. Hmmmm..... And did Roy just fall off the planet?

woah. this chapter was AMAZING. wow. i don't know what else to say. ok... i love the scene with Kevin, and Pam's determination to stay the person that she's become. I LOVE her relationship with Mark. I really like the way you write him, it's precious. then there's the porch... which is where i get back to wow. i can't wait to see where you take this. it's one of my favorites :) 

Author's Response: yes I love her relationship with Mark too! i think I said this before, but I didn't plan on that being a part of the story, but it just crept in and I'm loving writing it.  It's so how I wish every relationship with a boyfriend's best friend could be.  Thrilled that you're enjoying yourself.  Keep me posted.

great chapter. mark is TOO funny! but i do wish Pam would go ahead and tell Jim what happened. he would just wait for her to tell him and not ask. he's that kinda guy. you're writing the characters very well, and i really enjoy this story. :) 

wow. so i've read a LOT of first kisses b/w Jim and Pam in fanfiction, but this quite possibly my favorite. it's described so perfectly, and it's so innocent, but so HOT all at the same time. wow. just... wow. that was amazing. it's also just a lovely continuation of a wonderful fic anyway :) i really like the scene with Pam and Mark here. it's so sweet how he cares about Jim.

Author's Response: I always think the slower the kiss the hotter it is...although there IS something to be said for a "grab and devour" moment.  Anyway, thanks for the review! I'm glad you're reading and liking it. 

ok first of all, mark is SO funny! his reaction is exactly what i expect an overexcited guy to do. hehe. also, i love how pam finally decides to just go for it and see how it feels to wrap her arms around Jim. what i wouldn't give... :) anyway, i also love that this chapter ends with her asking for pizza. b/c after you've confessed your love to the man of your dreams, what else is there? 

another chapter for me to catch up on obviously :)

but i really love the way they come together in this chapter. it's wonderful.  

The thing that makes this story wonderful is that John Krasinski does play guitar, so theoretically, Jim could play... yeah, he's right, it's the best way to get girls. i'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this! 

Author's Response: The fact that John Krasinski plays guitar did play a factor in the decision to write this. :) Haha. I think that I would just swoon with glee if I ever saw Jim play the guitar on The Office. 

well, i like it. it's not surprising that Jim didn't tell Katie about the guitar until it accidentally came out. It's so telling that he didn't want her to know and he doesn't want to sing for her. oh why does Jim have to be so ridiculous? at least we know season 4 Jim will be a little more reasonable :) I love this though. i can't wait for more. 

ok, seriously... what was Jim thinking? he turned down sex with PAM in a cornfield, b/c he was so preoccupied with proposing... and then he didn't even do it! propose that is... anyway, i really enjoyed this b/c it was hilarious, but i can already see the tortured Jim coming through. I'm ready to suffer with him as long as i'm promised a happy ending, simply b/c i enjoy your writing so much :)

oh poor Jim! but i don't blame Pam... scruffy Jim is a sexy thing :) i wanna know why he didn't just tell her! i know it's not quite as romantic, but can't things just be not so perfect sometimes? I bet Pam dies laughing when she hears all the trouble he's gone through so far. we'll get to see that next chapter when he proposes right? :)

awwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!! my parents ALWAYS woke me up to tell me it was snowing no matter what time it was! i live in North Carolina, so i totally know what you mean! This is TOO SWEET! i love it! i hope there are more chapters to come?

My parents NEVER did. It was horrible. But I would wake up, and see the blanket of snow coating the ground and I was just in love with it all. And if it actually snowed while I was awake, I was out there, playing. My cousins who live up north never understand my fascination with snow, because they hate it. But it is so magical.

And yes, there is more written, and I have about 10 more ideas, mostly fluff like this (some sappiness also), so, yep. Lots more sweetness
