Okay, first of all, how in the heck did I never read this story? I think I was in Europe and incommunicado when you published chapter one, so that goes a little ways in explaining it, but it’s still inexcusable.  Because its so. freaking. awesome.

I’m going to be really annoying and quote a selection of my favorite parts, but before I do that let me just say that I LOVE that they watched 10 Things I Hate About You over the phone together. LOVE it. And also, no one on the planet writes a better Michael Scott than you. No one. Greg Daniels be damned.

um, awesome. You have me completely hooked. I'm right back in my season two mindset, and I'm loving it. I'm always a little hesitant to get to into AU fics, but I can tell this one is going to be very good [/jim]

I still guffawed like ten times reading this. I absolutely love that Jim and Pam still make each other laugh, even in the most embarrassing and painful situations. That is why they're so perfect for each other. 

"Hey, Pam?... I've fallen and I can't get up." I know I told you this already, but good god, I love that part. And, you know, every other part.

"Hi Pam," his scratchy voice greeted her. "Sorry I didn't get around to picking up the milk."

HA! I love so much about the things that you choose to be. 

I'm in love with you... I’m really sorry if that’s weird for you to hear, but I needed you to hear it.

Um, but seriously, this chapter rocked my socks right off! The idea of going to Stamford with him is just amazing. I am so. flipping. excited.

And I know this was just a little detail, but I loved that he was trying to pick a CD without any hidden implications.

Nice job, Jim, calling Pam on the couple stuff :) Can they please pretend to be a couple at all of the other apartments? Pretty please? Like, they could act like they're doing it because it's funny, but the readers know the truth.

Ah!!! So cruel! Why must you end it there? i just caught up on the last like 10 chapters. So, so, SO good! You've got me hooked, now please tell me what drunken questions they are about to ask each other!

I LOVE THIS. I love the tension. Ryan is perfectly in season four character, and Jim-- the way he responds to Ryan with this passive aggressive edge is perfect!

I am completely and utterly in love with you. You have combined my two favorite TV shows of all time, and done it whist miraculously keeping everyone perfectly in character.

 The Mulder and Scully dialogue was sooooo good. I mean, Mulder with the sports reference? Scully threatening to shoot Mulder? SO GOOD.

I cannot wait for you to update. *peeeeer pressure*

Hi, have we met? I'm your new biggest fan.

Okay, where to start? First, the entire scene with Mulder and Scully and the touching of the back! You write the most amazing UST. I mean, I've been on gossamer a lot lately checking out some old-school X-files fic and this tops all of it.

The kiss. I just love how their mouths were so close for so long. Again, just wow. And this line--"her voice cracked with the fractures of sexual tension." LOVE that phrasing.

Now, Pam thinking what the hell about Jim's sweater? Best callback to casual Friday ever.

And finally, the talking heads were brilliant once again. Angela with Sprinkles! Meredith's "what kind of question is that?" Priceless.

What did you mean by "hopefully this isn't too soon for this." Your updates can't come soon enough!

And side note-- I think both Creed and Dwight would have very interesting things to say about any of Mulder's more "out there" theories.

Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!! Now Mulder and Jim team up to save the day? *dies from the sheer awesomeness*

So, I still am in awe of your ability to write Mulder and Scully in perfect character.

My favorite parts (parts that made me squee or laugh out loud):

“So now you’re all about procedure, Scully? That’s quite the change from this morning…”

“Yes,” Jim proclaimed too loudly, bolting up out of his chair and heading for the door of the conference room.

“Going to give a personal interview?”

“This isn’t the end of this conversation,”

And why the hell had he been prancing around without a shirt on?

More now please! 

I have so much love for everything you write, but this has got me soooo excited! I've only seen a little bit of what you're planning next, and I can't wait!!

Wow. Okay, I love your writing style. You subtly weave in these similes and metaphors that are so vivid and effective. Like this:

When he emerges, she shadows him like she’s using him for cover, veering away towards her own desk at the last minute, trying to avoid my gaze. I reach my hand behind me just in time to barely brush the tips of my fingers against her soft hairless calves as she passes. She draws in a sharp breath and almost stumbles the rest of the way to her station. As she sits, she disappears, hunching like a frightened soldier in a foxhole.

It's so good, because I can really see it. And Roy's cry at the end too. So good! I'm sort of glad you didn't just plunge ahead with the physical stuff. It's more real this way. Just awesome.
