Summary: Past Featured Story

This picks up pre-merger and is spoiler free, a bit AU as well.  I began this back in October (maybe even September), and obviously the show has deviated quite a bit from what I speculated here.

This begins with angst, but there is a great deal of fluff, steam, smut, and silly...for several, several chapters.  My idea was to go beyond the happy ending, so to speak.

Well it ended up taking me two days, but I read the whole thing and I'm just, breathless. So many moments in this story are perfectly, wonderfully Jim & Pam. You've done a tremendous job. And I will for reals be super pissed with TPTB if they deny us a Jim/Pam wedding at some point in the future, because reading that portion of this story has been such a delight. Bravo!!

I am far too drunk on this update to be reviewing right now- HOLY CRAP that was good.  So much I loved about it.  I'll just have to reread.  And reread.  And reread.  Two quick things though:

When Pam did the u-turn, I clapped and cheered.  Alone.  In my apartment.

This description of Jim: His profile was illuminated by the streetlight as he deposited her gently onto his bed, leaning over her and resting on his forearms, looking like some sort of vision she'd conjured - his chest bare, jeans resting loosely on his hips.  

Yeah... I'm pretty sure I won't be able to get that image out of my head for a long time.
