Member's Choice - “My father died, so I’ll need a few days.” She explained in an unaffected sounding voice that surprised even herself. The three other parties in the room were stunned into silence. Jim spoke first. “Jesus, Pam…” She stood with her back to him and addressed Michael as if Jim had not made a sound…as if Jim did not exist. It was the only way.
This story is damn near perfect and is quite possibly my favorite on the site.

I have no words, really. This is by far the most amazing fic I have ever read, and the ending was just.... guh. Pure poetry. I hope I get to read more of your wonderful stories in the future. Well done.
The ideas are brewing as we speak ;-) They're great characters, so they just lend themselves to great stories.

It’s simply instinctive; at the two words, Jim’s eyes slide automatically toward Pam, only to find hers had done the same, and as a result they’re staring at each other for the briefest of moments.

MEMBER'S CHOICE - An alternate universe where Pam and Roy had a wedding, Pam goes to art school in New York, Dwight owns a restaurant and Jim works for a job in advertising that he likes a lot more and gets a lot more money at.
Basically? Dunder Mifflin never exists. And everyone meets under different circumstances.
The characters are pretty much the same -- personality-wise -- they just have different roles and work different jobs.
I'm kind of late to the party, but just chiming in to say that you've got me hooked and I really love where this is going. Kudos!

11 The Scranton Business Park is holding a charity auction, and Michael makes it mandatory for all the men to participate. Set sometime after Season 3. This was inspired by some comments on TWoP in the "Series Wishes" thread.
I remember reading this on TWOP and loved the idea (even if it was rather sitcomy) so I geeked out when I saw this story. It's awesome so far and I'm hooked, can't wait for more!
