That was a lot to quote, but GUHHHHH FINGERHOLDING. [And nice work extracting Kelly from the situation - much appreciated.] I have so much love for the situation you've created. Jim being jealous of Pam and Ryan [and of Pam's seeming LACK of jealousy over Karen, when she tells the Titanic story], and how even though Ryan and Pam both recognize the full awkwardness of their situation and the complication that is Jim, they're just kind of letting whatever is between them happen naturally, and it's just...more, please. Thank you AGAIN for the fingerholding.
[This is totally remotivating me to marathon the entire series and assemble a gigantic LJ post of Pam/Ryan moments - because they're SO THERE.]
Author's Response: Oh, do it! Do it! I was seriously considering making a Ryan/Pam shipper fanvid, heheh, there are so so many moments! Like that breakroom scene in Branch Closing? Talk about tension. I thought they were going to make out then and there. And yay, you liked the finger holding! I love those little moments when you're first becoming interested in someone (when you're just freaking out because you're kind of holding hands!) hehe, and I just wanted to try and capture that about what is going on between them, that they aren't really thinking about it, just having a good time. Pam freaking deserves a good time by this point!! I don't want any more crying Pam.
Yup, it’s a post-Cocktails fic! With a bit of a twist. Karen does a bad thing, and Jim is about to suffer the consequences…
