I went directly to the Crayola website to see that shade! I'm so excited that they are starting to move towards each other, but now I'm dying to know how this will affect her relationship with Squirrel. 

HOLY CRAP. My jaw just literally hit the floor. How does she know? What happens now? I'm so excited! Moxie,  your pacing is fantastic. You really know how to build up some suspense.

Ha ha ha. Michael in his boxer shorts is such a funny image. I think this story is great, and I can't wait for the epilogue. 

I love this story. So far I'm not having any trouble knowing what is a letter and what isn't, but italics would probably be clearer than double spacing.

Aw man!!! I really wanted that to be Jim! But it's kind of perfect how it is. I got so invested in this story, and that's solely because of the writing. Keep it up, I love your stuff.

This is such a cool idea, but I'm a little confused with what's going on -- partly because I had trouble keeping track of who was talking. I like how them getting together isn't some giant dramatic scene though. That's a nice change. 

Author's Response: Yeah, as I had said, I knew in the back of my mind that this might be confusing.  I struggled with it because I really am uncomfortable with the whole "he said, she said" deal, and even though there are ways around it, I would much prefer to find a way to make it clearer without using those types of phrases.  In any case, I'm glad you liked the idea; it wasn't mine but I think everyone should try it because it was so much fun.  Thanks for the response.

This was great! Very sweet. I loved trying to figure out what the message said. Don't want to think about how much Jim had to spend on chocolate, though!


Author's Response: Hee, I did some math homework when I was writing this and did actually figure how much it would have cost him, and it wasn't too terribly much.  Thanks so much for the kind words.   

Oh lord, that was so gut wrenching! I'm looking forward to the next chapter because I'm hoping for some resolution. Oh, and it was also very, very hot.
