Okay, first of all I'm a guy-are there any others writing here? Yes, I am of course in love with Jenna Fischer and with the fictional character she has created. And I would totally have a beer and watch some hoops with Jim Halpert.
I've never written romantic stuff in my life; this show just brings it out of me. My stories here are sort of little daydreams that seem somehow therapeutic to me. You can usually count on happy endings from my stuff; plenty of heartache on the actual show.

What else can be said...surely this is one of the great achievements in the history of fanfics. I find myself so anxious to find out what happens that I read it too fast and miss some things. It's that compelling.
10 God I love this story. I'm trying to decide whether if I were Jim I would do the "You've Got Mail" ending, arranging for a meeting and then showing up and hoping she forgives his deception. I always though Jenna Fischer compares to Meg Ryan a bit. You rule, by the way.

Fluff of the fluffiest order. Jim and Pam move in together. Set in S3 (fingers crossed) LOL! NO SPOILERS AT ALL10 Just put a big old smile on my face. There is a lot to be said for very well done fluff.
Before, during, after (peas, waffles.) Post-Cocktails...but no fighting.10 Man, I don't think I can possibly gush enough about this without just sounding ridiculous. It's beautifully crafted, the writing is flawless, the character are captured perfectly, the love scene is exceptionally well done. Just a great story well told that left me satisified and smiling. This must have taken a lot of work; thank you so much.

Very nice, enjoyed it a lot. I love imagining them as a couple. I enjoyed a lot of the little details, though I can't see Pam as uptight enough to have a problem with barefoot dining. Nice job.

10 Whew. I was wondering just what the hell I had gotten myself into until she woke up. I really like it. I think it's on the mark that even as Pam grows and even as she and Jim made a life together she would occasonally be haunted by her insecurities. And I always enjoy little gilmpses of them together in the future. Well done.
Very, very good, love the concept and execution. I really think you nailed what Pam's dad must be like-we know she respects him, but a girl who had a close, loving father would be unlikely to put up with a man like Roy. Anxious for more.
Okay, I'm hooked. I think this has the potential to really be a great one.

Member's Choice - Pam thought she was throwing these letters away. But what happens when your garbage doesn't stay in the garbage? Set mid-season 3.This is such a great, ambitious story, and the letters are so well done. I have to admit, though, that I think the table has been set for the payoff for a little while now and I could see myself getting a little less invested if it's deferred for many more chapters. That may just be my impatient nature, though. I'm also finding it a little hard to suspend my disbelief that Jim wouldn't act on these letters in some way. I'm still a big, big fan though.
Shame on me for not reviewing this outstanding story until now. Such a clever idea, and the whole thing is so charming. In particular, you write Pam's letters really well, really capturing her voice. You've really got it set up for an amazingly sweet payoff, which I'm anticipating with great impatience, I mean eagerness. Great work.

9 Very clever! Super, super concept, brilliant even. And I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It worked fine as you wrote it, but it might have worked on an even larger scale with a little bit more detail and a little slower pacing. I know that when I have an idea I like I sometimes want to finish it so bad that I tend to rush it a bit, and I can imagine with an idea this good you might have felt that a little. Still, one of the neatest stories I've read.
9 Wow, cool idea. It's interesting to speculate about Pam-Roy and just how bleak it might have been, and what her perspective was on the whole thing. Clever idea and an interesting read.
I felt like I needed just a little shot of nice fluff before I went to bed and voila! There it is. Nicely done.
