I really, really enjoyed this, particularly this line:

I think that just says so much about Roy and Pam's relationship. And I loved how sitting in his chair would be too intimate for her, and the dressing room scene. Just...wonderful job!

Such an amazing chapter. I like how you mentioned the look on Pam's face when he told her about his crush- I had never noticed her disappointment until the commentary! Gah! And the ice skating at the end- I had always suspected that Pam was faking it :). You just KNOW these two could be so happy together if Pam would just let herself. Can't wait to read the next chapter, I'm going to need something to get me through to Thursday!

I really loved this and am also very impressed that you were able to do it in a half hour (TWSS?) I only have a tentative toe in the Jim/Karen camp but that doesn't take away from the fact that I liked your style. Pam. Oh, Pam. My heart kind of broke for her in the last episode where she bought new clothes and talked about having some for after work that "weren't pajamas." I don't want to feel bad for Pam though. I know she has, somewhere deep inside her, the strength to realize that Jim doesn't deserve "more than her" He deserves her. You did a really great job with this. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it turns out similarly on the show!

I like to think this is why they are being soooooo vague with her - even as we are all just sitting there yelling "YOU MISS HIM. JUST SAY IT!!!!"

I think this whole time apart is enabling her to become "more than her" if that makes any sense. Jim does deserve someone who knows what she wants and I'm dying for her to realize it and tell him what she wants is HIM.
I'm not sure if I've made that clear enough over the last few months... :)
