I'm a music teacher and singer based in the Northeast.�The Office fanfiction world was my home for my formative college years, and I come back to re-read my favorite stories often.�I used to waste my time writing/reading X-Files fanfic. I guess it's only natural that I would morph into a JAM fan.

10 SHUT UP. This piece is ridiculous. no joke sweetpea this is like everything I love about literature. Beautifully crafted and real and symbolic, and I love thinking of Pam as a kind of free spirit in the middle of the night who would want to paint herself onto Jim. ugh. Wow.
"I had curled my hair softly around him, head bowed in supplication to say here, take everything. Eyes open, I try to see what he sees and i think it is softness. Eyes closed, I see his skin stretched across his shoulders. Half-lidded, I let it all blur into movements and breathing and something so deep I can't name it, but I want to write it or paint it or mold it out of clay so I can point to it and say this is what we are."

10 oh. my. god. This is achingly well written and so amazing to read. I really really loved way too much about it so I think quoting what I thought was good would take up like your entire reviews page. My favorite part, though, is the section about her burning herself and about her teasing him that in a fire he would run around in circles and she'd put the fire out. So true to them and so beautifully put.
