Ah, if only The Merger had actually followed your scenario. Very well done!  I really liked your idea about Pam wanting to, needing to scream in the aftermath of Casino Night and Jim's sudden departure...but being unable to let it out until she was basically scalding herself (and her inner demons) in the shower right before the wedding...pretty powerful passage.  Hope to hear more from you!

Wow!  I am nearly speechless.  This chapter was such a powerful evocation of Pam's inner feelings about Jim..and fully mirrors the kind of thoughts and feelings so many of us, as viewers had as we watched the remarkable wonder of Jim and Pam's story unfold.  Great job...with the story as a whole and with his latest offering in particular!

So very, verrrry well done!  You did such a wonderful job of capturing the underlying sexual tension that permeated their journey to finding one another.  And I agree with SeluciaV about what the experience of finding her way to Jim meant to Pam on her own, personal level.  Again, such a thoroughly enjoying story to read.

I really like these...little glimpses into how things got to be the way they got to be (well, at least the way you envision them...very much like the way we all tend to think about things that give us something of a conflicted feeling...like little spurts and flashes of wondering! And I especially like the idea that Pam actually realized her attraction to Jim from the beginning...I always thought that about her, too...and the writers have now, more or less confirmed that idea as well. I'm eagerly awaiting more!

And I totally agree with you about Pam knowing from the very beginning. Although, I also think that she wasn't that aware of her knowledge. Does that make sense? If not, you'll just have to keep reading for more of my interpretation.

I am really liking this...and such a verrry interesting premise.  There are so many passages that bring a smile so I'll just pick this one that made me shake my head in admiration:  "If I can just..." Sophie starts, and Pam feels her stomach drop as the woman and her meat take a step closer to Pam.  "Why are you with Roy, honey?" she asks in a stage whisper and Jim's expression melts into total amusement.  "I mean he's no good for you and Jim here is so good looking." she informs Pam, gesturing toward Jim with a fist full of ground round."  That's gooood!

Well, that was just......wow!  Your word associations create these wonderful pictures of emotion and feeling that really do make me sort of hold my breath in anticipation of where you're going to take these two next....and I'm a guy!

Definitely like your take on the aftermath to the Dinner Party...at least the aftermath for Jim and Pam.  Well done!  Now, if the documentary crew could only get access to some of that footage....!!!!

Callisto beat me to it but I wanted to also thank you for a story in which Pam, depsite all that we love about her, doesn't wind up taking the graphic design world by storm.  And I'm not implying that she doesn't have talent, and that it might not work out that way, but it's nice to read a story where she may need more than her 12 weeks at Pratt to really develop whatever level of raw talent she does possess and to maybe even determine that graphic design is really not how she ultimatley wants to use the artisitic gifts she does have.  Maybe it will turn out that another direction entirely would ultimately be more satisfying to her.  But, whatever way it plays out, she's not afraid to explore her possibilities...so, I applaud you!
