A moderately Hallmarky AU

Pam turns 30 determined to make this year better than the chaos of 29, which brought the end of her eight-year marriage to Roy. Married young and believing they were building a shared future, she was blindsided when Roy took a job out of state, ignored her pleas to come home, and revealed he never planned to return. Though heartbroken, Pam realizes she had always felt like something was missing. After meeting Jim at her new job, they begin to grow closer, and Pam starts to realize she’s entering an entirely new chapter of her life. As she rebuilds, Pam discovers that sometimes the ending of one chapter is the beginning of something even better.

A series of second  impressions (and some sneaky firsts) during significant moments of JAM. Earning my stripes through the unwritten rule that everyone new to writing this fandom must write this kind of story. 

Set in the same world as my earlier fic December 23rd, Pam phones someone else after Jim tells her he's in love with her.

Another fix it, another interpretation.  

Pam's monotonous days of living in New York with her longtime boyfriend are broken up by the friendship she forms with Jim, who she meets in a coffee shop. This is the story of their friendship, told through a list of what he gave her.

It's fluff, it's a fix-it, it's just a story.  

What started as a single little one-shot of what may have happened after Stress Relief.  (Jim was panicked, Pam was scared.  They needed a place to feel safe.) This has now become a little series of vignettes I can't let go of.
