I caved and wrote a post-Cocktail fic that can be best described by Jim's Talking Head from Season 2 Ep 6:
Fight! Fight! Fight! FIGHT!
Just like you know will happen, Jim and Pam get together right before a long hiatus. Here is how it all plays out in my happy head. Happy and saucy-- this one starts off all squeaky clean, but quickly earns a "Whorish!" from Angela and a "Niiiiice" from Kevin.
Jim's basketball game with the C.F.O. (not his actual initials) gets interrupted with news from what happened at Poor Richard's; he reacts accordingly.
Yup, it’s a post-Cocktails fic! With a bit of a twist. Karen does a bad thing, and Jim is about to suffer the consequences…Pam's discovered the world of internet chat rooms. Jim can't resist the chance to be near her in cyberspace. Spoilers up to Cocktails. Jim returns to Scranton. Spoilers through The Merger.

“Pam? Well, we are more like acquaintances now. She does her own thing and I do mine. It’s best this way if you think about it,” Jim said into the camera.

Imagine if Jim and Pam didn't meet in the office but instead when they were younger. Reunited by the Scranton/Stamford merger with respective fiances in tow will they fall into their old pranking ways? Will Jim fall in love with Pam even though he's engaged? Will Karen be really as into Jim if he's head over heels in love with her? Will Pam go through with the wedding after being reunited with her childhood crush? Stay tuned to find out!
