Casino Night ended slightly differently, so Pam and Jim are still on friendly terms when he heads for Australia. She makes a point to keep him up to date with what's going on on the home front. This follows most of the episodes from a different standpoint, adding more Angst to already Angsty Pam and Jim love story. If that's even possible. Pam is obviously unhappy and she begins to see things different with each passing episode.
At first she's all wrong, but in the end maybe she's a better fit.Jim's been away. Now he's back. Pam realizes what she's missed. No spoilers - just speculation and much wishful thinking.
