S3 AU. She twists the gold band on her finger around and around. She waits to feel regret or guilt or something else besides this buzzing excitement.A class assignment for Pam brings the office mates together.No couples perfect. Sometimes they disagree on things. But some things...it doesn't really matter.
This is set several weeks post-Merger. No spoilers, all speculation.Jim, Pam...and a partridge in a pear tree. There are 12 days of Christmas - there will be 12 chapters of this story.

Inspired by a quote from my first story, Labor Relations (the one that everyone was set to hate ;-). The quote was: "Would you freak out if I wanted to make a baby"...."Yes, because I really only had a craving for spaghetti tonight - nothing that exotic." This is just a little fluff piece about the night they decided to start "making babies".
Speculation for S3 and a whole lotta wishful thinking. Pam's trying to be gracious about Jim's relationship with Karen - but she's had enough - and tells (shows) him so.
Title comes from the INXS song of the same name (the original INXS, with Michael Hutchence).
