She says his name and it stops him.
Fourth of July fic submitted for the 55 challenge.
Takes place after "The Job".
Jim has finally asked Pam out on a date. What happens now? This story follows their relationship as it develops throughout the summer, and shows how the rest of Dunder Mifflin reacts to both this and other recent changes in their lives.
Two moments when Pam and Jim get together. Written in response to the 55 word challenge.
Jim is an indie music snob, until he insults the wrong man!
Rated "T" because of one bad word.
Pam asks a question, Jim answers. For the 55 challenge.
The conversation on the doorstep after Jim and Pam's first date. Jim starts it off.
This is along the same lines as my other Away From the Cameras, in the sense that I'm exploring scenes that might have happened off-camera (or simply those that we didn't get to see).
A few things: First, I'm working on the assumption that a lot of what I wrote in the AFtC for season II stands (though I likely won't reference any of it here), up until Casino Night. (Clearly I was quite off about what happened after the kiss...heh.)
Second, there will be flashbacks filling in the blanks of what happened immediately after CN (how long did Jim work? how did he and Pam ultimately leave things? how did she end things with Roy? how did Jim find out about her cancelling the wedding?); the flashbacks will happen largely in the chapters pre-merger (to keep things interesting for Jim/Pam fans during their physical separation).
"So did I tell you that I play guitar?" -- Jim
Jim has a hidden talent. He knows how to play the guitar, and he uses it to his advantage.
"I don't like bullies." A deeper look in to Jim's dislike for certain bullies and his relationships with certain co-workers...
