Michael watched Pam through the blinds. She was so lucky, everyone always wanted to talk to her, hang out with her, be friends with her. Sometimes he wished he could be her. It would all be so easy if he was Pam.
Pam looked up to see Michael staring at her through the blinds. She smiled to herself before turning back to answering the phones. Sometimes she wondered what it was like to be Michael. It must be strange.
There's a rule of the universe. Never wonder the same thing at the same time as someone else. That's a karmic jinx.

This is brilliant. When I saw you posted this up this afternoon over on the MTT board I knew I had to add it to my favorites, much like EmilyHalpert, before even reading it.
It's so perfect, dead on priceless. I'm really enjoying the fact that Pam has caught on quicker than Michael, and Michael's completely oblivious.

Trying to think like Michael is a refreshing thing. He is so 'right now' in his thoughts and statements. I can't imagine being Michael for one single second and if I were Pam, finding myself in Michael's body, I'd shoot myself. Hmm.... gotta make sure Pam doesn't find any weapons of self-destruction in the next few hours. She's definitely near the edge now.
