Don't know if you're still out there but I just wanted to say I blew through all these series again tonight. It's hard to believe how much you pack into each of these little chapters. Your characterizations are dead on, great dialog, wonderfully interlacing plotlines. I just love them all.
Jim and Pam share a dance and reminisce a little. Pure speculation - no real spoilers. And just a word of warning. If it were any fluffier, it'd be made of spun sugar.

I do. I love marshmallows. I didn’t know how much until I couldn’t have them, but seeing someone else with all of the marshmallows was killing me.

10 Just reread this for about the fifth time in a row. Masterful, just masterful. This is absolutely one of the best things I have ever read here.
I just love the last two paragraphs. The second to last is lyrical and the last is so crisp.
Afterwards, and before again, he holds her hand and holds her and she knows she doesn’t have to do crazy things anymore like wear wool scarves in August. Because he came back and he tells her he loves her and he loves her and he loves her.
First morning light is beginning to sneak into the room by the time they finally succumb to sleep. As she drifts away, her head lying on his chest (not on the scarf,) she can see out her bedroom window. It’s been snowing. Everything looks brilliant and white.
10 This is an absolutely GORGEOUS story! You show the emotions so well. What control of language! It's just perfect.

10 Wow, it's been so long since you added a chapter to this story. And it's GORGEOUS. I came across it because I was reading stories that another reader commented upon. I really wish you would consider finishing this story – the characters are so good and your writing is so insightful. All the near misses for Pam in this chapter, the moments she almost told Jim that she read the card... Lush & lovely.

I was poking around today, looking at other people's reviews and came across this story. I really like the way the story moves progressively forward, but through different character's eyes. Nicely done!
So, how'd you end up doing in that Beowulf class?

I really liked this story. You did a very good job of presenting Karen in a three-dimensional, sympathetic way.
You spend your days watching other people fumble over themselves and wade through life without having to actually live your own.
Response to the Documentary Crew challenge!
Well, the first review didn't seem to post correctly ... I'm trying again but you might end up with two...
I LOVE this story! I love how you developed it. I didn't know about the challenge, so I started off thinking this was the usual Pam & Jim. And it took a while to realize that this was a totally different viewpoint. I liked the way the story wasn't in your face about the viewpoint but caused a slow dawning, like a lightbulb coming up with a dimmer switch!
I really liked how Paul cares about KAREN and detests Jim. I like the cynical outlook of the lead documentarian. You've made all the characters real. I wish Paul had grown a bigger pair and not given up!
THINGS ARE HEATING UP!
Imagine if Jim and Pam didn't meet in the office but instead when they were younger. Reunited by the Scranton/Stamford merger with respective fiances in tow will they fall into their old pranking ways? Will Jim fall in love with Pam even though he's engaged? Will Karen be really as into Jim if he's head over heels in love with her? Will Pam go through with the wedding after being reunited with her childhood crush? Stay tuned to find out!
Hmm ... Over a year seems like a long time to keep people waiting for the next chapter! I just came across this story tonight. You shoud finish it!

This chapter is so good. I think you did a great job on the conversation between Pam & Roy! ...And explaining how Jim knows before he even talks to her that she's decided against it. Good characterization.

Love this whole story! How ingenious of Pam to invite Jim to make snowmen on the ROOF! I love the fire you have in Pam in this story and the ending is wonderful.
“I get it now, she’s everything I’m not.” She says as a few tears slip out from beneath her lashes. His subconscious realizes at this moment that she’s unconsciously mimicking a line from the Royal Tenenbaums, one of their joint favorite films. When he replays this conversation in his mind later, this will break his heart.
Great story! I thoroughly enjoyed the anger and the happiness. (You do anger really well! A lot of "angry Jim & Pam" stories just end up sounding really stilted."
