Anyway, this chapter is so well done! There are a lot of fics about Pam letting her hair down and Jim telling her she's beautiful and generally being the best guy on the face of the Earth, but your interpretation seems special to me. I think that you especially hit the nail on the head when Pam said, "Stop. I’m not…beautiful. Pretty, yes, but not beautiful." I know that I feel that way, and plenty of other people do too. And Jim's speech is just too perfect. I don't know whether to be hopeful that there are men like that out there, or cry because Jim isn't real (blasphemy, I know). Anyhoo, great, great job, as usual.
