Nicely done. I like David Wallace and we haven't had many fics from his POV. Michael's call to DW was one of my favorite Michael moments in TO ever, so it's interesting to see the event from Wallace's POV.

(Todd Packer is so easy to dislike. Unfortunately, there are real Todd Packers out there.)

I really enjoyed this, and I think you did Karen especially well.

Very nice job, but Jim certainly doesn't come off as hudgely Hideous. *grin*
I especially loved the last line -

The someone else I’d become left her ...crying…in New York city …by a fountain…without a ride home so the ME I was could run to HER.

Creed was my favorite of these, and I absolutely loved this opening line:

Everything about Creed Bratton’s life seems to be covered in a thin film, like some kind of mystery plastic wrap.

Author's Response: Creed\'s was the most fun to write because I feel like with Creed, you can say almost anything and have it be at least semi-correct. Glad you liked it. :)

I was really looking forward to this and it did not disappoint. They are so believably awkward, yet there is their underlying current of confidence that everything will be all right now that they've managed this level of honesty. Tons of great lines, but three of my favorite details:

"I have no idea how to do this."
Perfect.

And the fact that Jim has a hard cover copy of "Half Blood Prince"...

The comfortable intimacy of them in the final scene on the bed, talking, doing the crossword puzzle - I felt so right.

Author's Response: I assumed that the Harry Potter enthusiasm in \"Money\" had to come from somewhere. Here\'s my dorky reason for putting that on his nightstand - the final book in the series came out about a month after the events of The Job took place, so Jim is re-reading before he picks up Deathly Hallows. He likes to pretend he\'s not a big nerd, but we all know better, right? I\'m glad you liked that line, as well - I was rather pleased with it. Thanks for reading and reviewing, jazzfan. Cheers.

This is fantastic. I love the quiet honesty in their conversations - it's as if the big anxiety is gone and they realize they can finally communicate. And every admission leaves them thinking "of course."

Author's Response: Hi, Jazzfan. Thanks for the review. The big anxiety might be gone, but its friends, reticence and nervousness, are still certainly hanging around. I think my whole goal here is undermining any sense we might have of Pam and Jim riding off into the sunset at the end of The Job while still making it clear how very happy they are to be at least trying to communicate with one another.

That was lovely, bashert. I like the notion that Pam enjoyed her "me" time.
