Aw, there's nothing Jim Halpert finds more unsettling than having someone not like him (Charles Miner, I'm looking at you) and having CeCe not be enamoured of him would definitely bother the crap out of him, even though he knows it's a stage. Pam is so cute (and believable) trying to comfort him. Loved the line about the boobs. *snort* Makes you want to give Jimbo a hug and tell him it won't be long 'til she's bouncing on him. Very, very sweet fic.
I very much like your enlightened roy, and the callback to Basketball's "lets get you into a tub" was awesome. Nice job. I'd love to hear about the Halperts from one of their parents. Jim's dad, maybe?
I may or may not have but definitely did give a little whoop when I saw this was up. Nicely done - you were sympathetic to Alex - which I suppose he deserves. I love the "she's so--great" callback, and this line is a gem: "who can compete with a guy who calls Michelangelo’s Cittadellarte the one with all the chairs, but still come to an art show anyways?" I always thought Roy's mom was probably a decent sort of lady - this is very much as I had imagined her. A loose end I'd love to hear from is Rich Sommer's character.

Also, I like this callback to what Karen said when Pam visited her in Utica: " ...had discovered that he was actually quite a good manager, when he wasn’t managing people who still saw him as the office slacker."
Bwahahaha. This really rings true to me. I once walked several blocks with a pony saddle slung over my back on the way to ride when my dad reneged on a promise to take me riding. I learned that ten miles was a long, long way, and came back home.
