Sweet lord. This one kills me. I think I say this to all of the season two angst out there, but goodness, I wish I could've given this boy a hug back then. He needs a hug from his future self.

Describing him as "Pam's Ken doll friend" was brilliant. What an analogy.

"She just needed some time to thinkk, you figure. You can't wait to hear from her." So heartbreaking. It makes you wonder what it was like for Jim in Stamford, when he knew about Pam being single, and probably was waiting for her and just never got that closure. We'll probably never know much about that time.

Author's Response: Yeah, I always wanted to know how this night went down, and we never will. So I made something up. We all know it turns out okay which makes it okay to think about again If only future Jim would send this poor guy a fax from the future announcing the birth of Cecelia Halpert.

This is so, so wonderful and in-character. I love how you're going through each of Pam's thoughts, dealing with all of her emotions... from feeling guilty of loving one baby more than another, wanting some piece of romance left for another pregnancy, worrying about her marriage, and even still thinking of the baby weight "that will probably never go away now." I'm so happy you had Jim "elated" about it. I think he would be, too, despite all of the things that Pam's going through. I can't wait to see what else you're going to do with this. Hope to have another chapter here from you soon. =)

I love this little walk through Pam's life. Some of the lines totally just struck me. When the baby hooks her arms around Pam's neck and Pam thinks, "I love being her mother." That was so sweet; so much fun to think about Pam figuring this motherhood thing out. Loved Pam comparing Cecelia to Jim throughout the story, too. Great, great job. I hope you're planning on writing more stuff with this kid around.

Awesome. What a glass of angst this one was. It only added to it, that the characters tagged in this one are "Jim, Pam" rather than "Jim/Pam." Ouch. ;) Great job!
