I don't read as much as I used to, nor do I review like I should, but I wanted to review to tell you this is a really great story. I hope you continue this, and write even more stories. This feels like a fic that one of the older writers would have posted. Please stay with us. It seems when we get someone new, they are gone shortly after arriving. Can't wait for the next chapter!

I did not see it happening like that. I wonder what the outcome will be? Can't wait to find out! Maybe Pam can think he stopped talking to her cause he was jealous that he thought Danny was the father ;)

Author's Response: Glad the ending was a surprise! An interesting thought, but I think Pam fears that he's not into her and maybe, on some level, knows that Karen is probably partly responsible. Thanks for the review, more soon!!

I love it when you surprise us by giving us a new story! This story was much fluffier than your previous one, but not too over the top. I do love the way your write angst, so maybe we'll get another visit from you with something darker? Like flipping a switch: light, dark, light, dark. lol

Nice insight to that scene. I wondered if that kiss was in Michael's script, since it seems to small of a detail for him to write it, but at the same time, Jim did lean in... I like this explanation :)

This is what I feel is missing in recent fic. You say so much with so little (or no) dialog, where many others are mostly conversation. You allow us to peek into their emotional state, let us share the same sentiment, without confirming it with instructive words.

Aww, poor Cece! Kids are more in tune with their surroundings than we give them credit for.

OMG I snorted about the underwear! I remember about 10 years ago, a couple friends were helping another friend move. We were moving drawers and my best friend took out a pair of panties from her drawer and yelled "Panties!" right in front of the guy friend she had a crush on. She was SO embarrassed and bright red! Poor Helene, I'm sure she wanted to hide! LOL

What a great story. Sometimes it's nice to see things from the child perspective. It give insight as to how they're feeling and what they're thinking.

Keeping us on our toes is what you do best, isn't it? I'm with Pam; I'd love to hear more about Jim's past. Why does he skim over it? Can't wait for more, Annabel!

Seriously, Annabel? Wow! I'm glad I decided to check this site out, cause boy was I in for a treat! I can't wait to see this continued all the way through to the "happily ever after." What do you mean there might not be a happily ever after?? Here's hopin'!

You know, it's funny... I recently reviewed a story of callisto's and told her what I miss from fic writing is the way she writes with little to no dialog, and I'm not one who is big on mostly conversation stories. Yet, here I am, in love with everything you write! The two of you are a contradiction to each other, but I come running if anything is posted by either one. Maybe that's why Talkative owns my heart; she's what would happen if you and callisto had a fiction writing baby.

The way they converse with each other makes you long for season 2-3. I miss the angst, longing, and so much of what that time represented. I hope you follow this through to completion!

Author's Response: Thank you, Andastainonmyshirt!  I didn't used to write so much dialog, but I now find it kind of addictive. Particularly with these two, where (at least in the first few seasons) all they had was conversation (oh, and long, significant looks). Talkative is a wildly talented so-and-so; I don't wonder you love her work. 

Ah, Michael. You can't give that boy a second alone, otherwise, this is something that would happen. Pam missing him, yet being annoyed by his neediness is how I imagine she would feel.

I'm happy you still have Pam nursing her babe, even on the phone with Michael :)

Author's Response: You know, I am a guy who hasn't had a baby and hasn't really interacted with babies much, so I was a little paranoid about the Pam/Cece scenes coming off naive somehow. I have to admit I looked up nursing online to see what was normal, although I was fairly sure nursing at one year was perfectly normal. Sources I read seemed to say it was best done for at least 1 or 2 years, and after that as long as is comfortable for mother and child, even though - unfortunately - a lot of mothers still don't breastfeed that much if at all. But I thought Pam would, and I definitely liked the parallel between her calming down both her baby and Michael. Glad you liked it too. :)
