I love so much about the things Monopoly chooses to be.

10 oh my damn. that was amazing.
and for some reason, the mention of ducks reminded me of something. rainn wilson's son walter calls ducks "water chickens." he twittered that a few months ago. rainn twittered, not walter. he's only 5.
one thing: you never ever ever EVER put a baby on a couch unattended. that's just a fall waiting to happen. and considering that little jill was mobile by then, having her out of a crib is another recipe for disaster.
other than that, this was perfect!
aww. and i had that same ballerina jewelry box. actually i still have it.
10 "woah-woahs"... holy crap. CUTE!
10 i love this... perfect banter between the two of them without overdoing it (because come on... you can't really joke around during contractions.) and the sweet michael moments, like when he held her hand during the contraction, and at the very end, talking to jim. perfect little moments of michael sweetness, but again, without overdoing it.
10 "Daddy you can't be a big sistah you're a boy. You gots a penis."
HOLY. MOTHER. EFFING. CRAP!!!!! i laughed so hard. that silent, hysterical laughing that sounds more like wheezing.
so much awesomeness in this chapter. the "three's a party, four's a crowd" campaign, being tucked in like a mummy, the princess unicorn nightgown (holy crap), the conversation between the sippy cup and the spoon... good lord. i'm going to be SO sad to see this go. i can't wait until jill meets her little sister!

Jim and Pam discuss cohabitation on a Sunday morning. Written after Back from Vacation as an antidote to Pam's crying scene. Just couldn't leave it alone, now could I?

8 one thing i did notice: after the "mary tyler moore" moment, (adorable, btw), you suddenly change from past tense to present.

This is my take on Pam's motivation for leaving the wedding with Roy. Only Pam and Roy are in this story, but I am very much in the Jim/Pam camp so it is safe for JAM fans too. I know I have been absent for awhile. This episode pushed me out of hibernation. 10 i love this so much. for some reason, the image of roy crying in pam's arms when his grandmother died really hit me. pam and roy did once have a good relationship.
oh god, this is heartbreaking... and yet i'm still reading.
one thing: you keep switching from past to present tense.

Yeah, this story could have used a beta. I reread it recently (I actually did a commentary on it at my LJ), and realized how many little things a beta could have caught. I've constantly thought about updating it, but its such a sad subject matter, its one of those I'm not ready to deal with.
And I've been meaning to tell you thanks so much on all the reviews of my old stuff. Really means a lot, you have no idea!

Just like you know will happen, Jim and Pam get together right before a long hiatus. Here is how it all plays out in my happy head. Happy and saucy-- this one starts off all squeaky clean, but quickly earns a "Whorish!" from Angela and a "Niiiiice" from Kevin.
10 ...least of all a sweet love story that had even our gruffest grip squealing like a schoolgirl when we watched the raw footage.

8 don't get me wrong, i love love love this, but a little "factual" critique for the last little vignette: while babies, on average, start to say "mama" or "dada" at around 8 months old, and can say one or two words at 1 year, the average child doesn't start stringing words together in sentences until around 18 months.
