Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2
Oh my. This? was just emotionally magnificent. I don't know what I was expecting in this second part, (because the signs were there) but I was not expecting that. Pam's insecurities about how Jim would feel about sex now, and how that affected how she felt, were just... perfect? can the word perfect be used in that context? The way Jim reassured her? That whole conversation was just, beautiful, and so bittersweet.
Oh, and: "And instead, we got excited about her and you're the only person in the entire world that I've ever done that with, so..."
Guh - Jim.
And then they have sex, and it is satisfying, and then they're all together as a family, and their baby is smiling at them and it was wonderful, because they're just this amazing little family, and she's somehow like this epitome of all this love they share, and, I'm gushing...
But, also? "Those legs belong in a desert" - LOL.
I really don't want to take anything away from the awesomeness but there is a point, in their beautiful conversation, where I'm hoping Jim should be scratching his 'chin' and not his 'china' because well, that's... distracting.
Awesome.
