I love this so much! I feel so sad for Pam and Adele, and I hope they'll be able to patch things up. I'm so sad that it's almost over. I hope that you'll have something new for us as soon as you're done with the epilogue.

Wow. First, it's great to see you back here and I'm so sorry to hear you're going through a rough time. Writing can be therapeutic, for me it is at least.
As far as this story goes, it is amazing. You've hit every single emotional nail on the head. I'm hoping you continue this.

Unfortunately, as of late, I have found trashy television and cheap wine to be therapeutic. :( I'm so glad you like this story; I was convinced it was crap and I was really nervous to post it. I might email you about For the Love a little later on; I'd love to get some help with it but right now I think I need to take a break from it. You're the sweetest. Really. :)

This is great! I'd hate to see it left as a one shot. There's definitely room for expansion here if you wanted to go for it.

I have to admit it took me a few tries to read through... I'm not that strong of a person! But I'm so happy to see you're writing again that I had to buck up and get through it because you're one of my favorite authors, your writing is always flawless and wonderful. This piece fits so well with the lyrics you have here on the bottom. I've never been a fan of Pam dies fics, and I can't ever imagine Jim with anyone other than her. I can see though, his need to just be close to someone - two kids at home, he can't get much grown up time in there with that going on as a single parent. I am glad to see that he is a devoted father with that simple line at the end.
I'm so hoping that you'll continue writing and sharing stories with us. :)

Author's Response: Deedledee, you were very kind to read this when it wasn't your thing at al - there are plenty of stories that are written here that aren't bad stories, but just aren't my thing and I knew this would be one of those for a lot of people. I wanted to put more of a warning on it than I did, but if I had, it would have ruined the twist. Forgive me for that. And if anything I ever write is done halfway correctly, it's due to VB's demonic red pen. LOL Music is what starts me writing, and I got stuck on this sad song. I'm glad even though you didn't like the subject matter (and really, who would ever "want" this to happen?) that you could imagine Jim doing this in this situation. That's what I was really exploring. Well, that and getting over my aversion to writing sex scenes. *snork* Thanks so much. Now please get back to writing another chapter of that Indigo and Crimson - I'm really enjoying it.

I love post episode stories, and this definitely did not disappoint. I love the last line, and the image of him taking care of his sick little girl was so sweet. I loved this, perfect balance of the episode and what happened afterward. Write more things! GO GO GO!

Love the concept, it's just a little tough to read, formatting wise. Try separating dialogue and narrative. It makes it easier to read. The punctuation goes inside the quotation marks, you need a comma after quotation marks, and the caps lock isn't so necessary.
And I'm kind of sad that he's proposed to Karen. This will be a different type of story, no doubt, I can sense it. I know we all know what's gone on and we can assume he's happy with Karen, but I'd love to get more of a sense of what it's been like for them as a couple over the three years. Is this just a throw away proposal because he thinks he has to, or is it really that he's in love with her. Longer chapters could help us see that. Well, anyway, I hope that was constructive for you. Great concept, though. Hope you'll share more soon.

I'm really enjoying this and can't wait to see where you take this. I can definitely see Pam's anger at finding her fiance in bed with someone else making her react the way she did, and I'm glad that at that point in time she had Angela to call. I'm kind of happy you didn't have her run to Jim automatically in the first chapter. I'm really looking forward to reading this, and I have to thank you for posting it. It's given me the spark to want to continue writing. Looking forward to more!

Interesting start. Just a few things that threw me off. Pam's sister's name is Penny. And there were a few grammar things that could be fixed up by a beta, (I'd be happy to help you out). For ex.: a lot, not alot...

This is a great read, I like the idea of them watching the documentary together. At first I couldn't figure out why Pam was running out, I thought you were still talking about the documentary, but I got caught up again quickly. Overall, I really enjoyed this. Hope you'll keep writing!

Sorry I missed this the day it was posted. Work distracted me a little bit at the end of last week. I love how easily they deal with this, even though they want to freak out, they're just so calm about it. I thought Jim's solution was very Jim like, and I love the little wave too, it's so adorable. Your little Cece is just the cutest thing, and I can see the girl who portrays her on TV in my head while reading this. Great stuff, as always. You've quickly become one of my favorite authors. Keep on writing! :)
