Ideas for Cold Openings (the pre-title gags) always pop into my head. So these will be just a bunch of teasers that, hopefully, you will find funny. I don't know how many I will post but I'll keep putting them up as they occur to me.
10 This is by far the best story I read in this site. You wrote the characters so well. It's unfortunate I found this story at work, then I become an addict who said one more chapter, then one more until the last chapter. I'll make up for it tomorrow at work.
I love all your C/O and my favorites are usually the ensemble chapters. It seems you haven't written any for a while. I hope the new season can bring you new inspiration.

Gotta love at the end that Dwight indeed "borrowed" the DVD. I presumed it was at the pig stall or something at the ending.
It's ironic that Spader joined the cast of The Office Season 8. How is the Spader report going?

How could you kill Dwight? The poor man. Anyway, since the title is Eulogy it's kinda expected. Michael should have appreciated Dwight more. I know Jim would miss Dwight. I LOL at Stanley, Creed, and Phylis's reaction. It's kinda expected from Angela. The clueless Andy thought Angela was grieving on his behalf. By the way, I am new to the fandom but I really love Andy (well, more of a fan of Ed Helms and I just realised he was in The Hangover so I rewatched Hangover last nite to compare Stu with Andy).
I have been avoiding reading this fic because I think it would be very dark. Actually it's quite heart warming and you wrote nice Jim and Pam. Poor poor Toby, even he had a better holiday in Costa Rica in your fic rather than in the actual show. I think they need to give Toby love interest or something good this season.

I like Toby, Andy, and Kelly the most (but all of them are good). Toby and Reese Witherspoon, wow :) I would watch all of Andy's youtube videos if it's available :)
What is "Real World"?
Watching the documentary as a favor for Ryan, Toby learned that almost everyone at Dunder Mifflin could probably sue Michael for something and win big. And he learned a few other very important lessons as well.When did Daryl say about Toby being cool? I think I watched the episode but couldn't remember which one. I think Pam did say a few times that Toby is cute, so not only during that time. Michael being the most hurtful as usual and Jim's imitation is annoying even when I watched it (still didn't know which episode though).
It would be interesting to see how The Office people react when they see the documentary of themselves and coworkers and all secrets would be revealed.
Different from what you write but still very great. And actually each section follows with the next one chronologically and logically if you know what I meant. I love Creed's thought most. That's why Ryan invited Toby :)
Hahahaha, you actually must continue this story, despite being written a few years ago. What has happened to Andy? Love Jim's spirit talking head, how can the camera even capture it? LOL.
Did Toby take the wrong pills at number 5? That's way more depressing than purposefully doing that.
I like the happy number 3 and 4 especially 4 with Karen and the airing and cancellation of the episodes. You really go into Toby's mind.
I hope you are going to update this story, can't leave this hilarious series hanging there. I for one would like to see Jim to get totally pranked.
OK, sorry for late joining the review party. The story was great and the characterization was spot on, especially for Michael. Poor poor Judy! I love the Dwight/Andy in the show, well, their interaction and Jim/Dwight interaction are the highlights of the show for me. Just 2 things (I know it's written way before season 7), we now know that Andy doesn't like gun and I think later season Andy won't hurt the woman he loved just to win (well, I guess he loves Erin more than Angela :) )
I think I should watch the deleted scenes to get more context of your story and also about the colorblind, which I thought you made up.
They should explore Toby and Oscar friendship more. Oscar did say that Toby was one of the sane people in the office but has mentally checked out.
Author's Response: Nope the deleted scene where Oscar helps Toby with traffic school, Toby mumbles about being colorblind. But I would definitely recommend watching deleted scenes; it can certainly fill in context, especially where Toby is concerned.
Hey, I have been reading your fics from LJ and MTT, depending on which one is more convenient. It beats being sleepy in the office (I mean my working place, not the show).
I always like Karen and I'm glad you tap into her. Not a big fan of Holly. Toby mumbled a lot. He even mumbled the word "mumble" in the webisode "The Outburst". I'm glad Karen actually gave positive criticism and even sent him a gift basket, that's so nice of her. If it was not because of Toby/Kelly, I would have shipped Toby/Karen. Oh, of course you must have Kelly with your Toby fic. I would really see Toby's MySpace page with lots of pink just for the fun of it.
Author's Response: I always liked Karen too. I semi-shipped her with Toby (both my fics The Footnotes and Maybe This is What Happened Next are Karen/Toby-ish if you're interested). And yes I always have to Kelly in my Toby fics.

Finally I managed to read this. I have been reading a few fics about Kelly and Toby and somehow they slowly convincing me that those pairings are possible (more so than Kandy which I read for fun). I lol-ed at Kelly's giving Erin dating advice.
I think you went to Ryan's head quite well. He held contempt to most of his coworkers especially Jim (why am I not surprised since you wrote this :) )
The ending is heart breaking. Somebody needs to give Toby a hug (you made him colour blind).

I'm OK with Gabe, as in neutral not like or dislike. I actually like Andy/Erin but I think the show milked the love triangle too much (and also with Michael/Holly/AJ). Sorry, I am just new to the fandom and that's what I thought, too much emphasis on relationships in the new seasons rather than the office life. But I think most people hate Andy/Erin in this fandom as it seems.

No I agree with you about all the triangles; I think that since they have Jim and Pam squared away they thought they should make more. And I always liked Andy and Erin, I just wished they hadn't dumbed her down so much.

I really feel sorry for Andy this episode, I know he had Daddy issue but don't know the extent of it. The Office seems more like drama with some comedy now. Not that I mind.
