Oh that is a nasty little cliffhanger. But I love this story very much. They are fairly in character if we add drunkenness and I like that it is Pam POV.

You and the cliffhangers! A very good story but please, not 3 more weeks...

Author's Response: Hahaha, and this one was completely unintentional. It just felt like a good spot to end things before it dragged on for another couple of thousand words. The last update will be MUCH quicker. Because it’s January now and I have other Things to work on. Thanks for reading!

Awww. I mean. Poor Karen, that really sucks, geez Jim. But at the same time, very glad this went the way it did. Especially from the Pam POV, which I very much like.

Author's Response:

I know, I kind of felt icky about the whole Karen thing pretty much from the start, but well, things happen, ya know? Maybe I’ll treat her better in the next story. Maybe.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing! I’m looking forward to getting back into reading all of your updates! :)

Ok this is beautiful. I don't usually care much for post-S3 stuff but I think the last couple chapters here are actually the sweetest and best

Author's Response: Thank you! I’m with you— most of my stuff is set in set in the early days. So I’m especially excited that you liked the later chapters! Thanks for reading and happy new year!

Well, this wasn't fluffy, but it was steamy, and that's like a kissing cousin. Lovely work.

Author's Response:

Steam > Fluff (Is that a controversial opinion?)

Thank you!

I quite like this premise and setup. I hope we also hear about Jim getting cast, though the Pam PoV is quite good as a device. Looking forward to seeing where you go with this.

Author's Response: Thanks!! Dw I’ve already written Jim’s casting so that’s coming up next xx

Definitely enjoying this. Keep it up, and feel free to keep putting out short-ish chapters like this if it keeps the ideas flowing. They're fun to read.

I like this a lot. It's very to the point, and the point is pleasant. I'd be interested in a continuation if you have more to say, but not just for it's own sake--this could definitely be complete as it is.

Author's Response:

Thank you very much! I have a couple ideas in mind...

Summary:

An office party is not an excuse to get really drunk, or confront someone, or have a cathartic experience of any kind.

Also, Pam won't tell Jim what her favorite Christmas song is.

AW THIS IS SO ADORABLE!

And I usually dislike late-season fics too--but I have to say, this Secret Santa exchange has been knocking them out of the park. I especially love the Christmas-song bracket and Michael in his room. So excellent.

Summary:

Pam and Jim just started dating, and Pam’s curious about Jim’s romantic past. He pretty much knows all about hers, such as it is, so it seems only fair.

I'm enjoying these little hits of story. I sympathize with Pam though--sounds like Jim's avoiding the question, and she definitely deserves pizza for it.

Author's Response: He was definitely trying to avoid the question!

Summary:

Jim is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Yet-to-Be. Because I watch too much A Christmas Carol and It's a Wonderful Life every December. Set during "Dwight Christmas" in Season 9 for the 2018 Secret Santa Fic Exchange.

I own nothing here. Concepts and characters go to Greg Daniels, Charles Dickens, and Frank Capra.

Oh noes. Oh no-y no-y no. I mean. You do a really good job of evoking it. And this is the Dead Tiny Tim section of the story. But still. This is too sad. He better fix it right up.

Author's Response: Good! Thank you for that feedback. This one was really hard to write. I was kind of going for that Tiny Tim scene or where George Bailey sees the type of ripple effect he had. Thanks so much for getting it though. :)

Awwwwww I love it. So well done. And so happy you chose this story to retell. Nice work.

Author's Response: Thank you so much Comfect! That really means a lot. And special thanks for all those comments. It helps to know what works for people.

Summary:

There sits that bag of chips, on the passenger seat, to remind her of him, of his skin, and of the things that need to be fixed in her life.

Aww. Poor Pam. Poor Jim. Not poor Roy.

"Finally, despite of the cold, he walked outside. It was too much to ask for his brain to stop the fantasies. And he was starting to feel like a pervert."

Love this. Especially Pam's emphasis on textures, which I think really fits both with her character and what you're trying to do here. Lovely.

Moving on? by Lizby Rated: MA [Reviews - 28] 24

Interesting twist. I have to say I'm disappointed in your Jim for his reaction to this version of the fire walk speech. Obviously different context but that was weak sauce.

Wondering where you're going with the OC, interested to finally get some Jim POV on this. He better have a good self-explanation for his terrible behavior.

Author's Response: So yeah Jim right now is definitely not the most likable guy. Which is why next chapter will go into what’s running through his mind and why he reacted the way he did. And more on the OC next chapter as well. Thanks for the review!

Ouch. Just...so ouch. Though I hope Jim's at least aware of how much of a dick that makes him, he's still being a dick. Nice repurposing of pepper spray and of Jim's dismissiveness though. Well done.

Well, I can't criticize the writing, but I'm never that fond of fics in which Pam is dating someone other than Jim, so I find myself in a bit of a fix. I liked this, and I think you do an excellent job, but I must admit I'm certainly rooting for a JAM ending rather than where we are now...that said, you do a really good job of motivating Pam for this encounter, so well done.

I mean, I didn't have real expectations but I thought you did a good job of explaining it. And I'm very intrigued to see where you go from here.
