1 Oh that is a nasty little cliffhanger. But I love this story very much. They are fairly in character if we add drunkenness and I like that it is Pam POV.

And I usually dislike late-season fics too--but I have to say, this Secret Santa exchange has been knocking them out of the park. I especially love the Christmas-song bracket and Michael in his room. So excellent.
Pam and Jim just started dating, and Pam’s curious about Jim’s romantic past. He pretty much knows all about hers, such as it is, so it seems only fair.
1 I'm enjoying these little hits of story. I sympathize with Pam though--sounds like Jim's avoiding the question, and she definitely deserves pizza for it.

1 Awww I like this a lot. Very cute and I think quite in character: Pam isn't a fast mover but if she actually starts talking I don't think she stops.
1 Aww. Poor Pam. Poor Jim. Not poor Roy.

This felt very real. Good internal voice.

Interesting twist. I have to say I'm disappointed in your Jim for his reaction to this version of the fire walk speech. Obviously different context but that was weak sauce.

Ouch. Just...so ouch. Though I hope Jim's at least aware of how much of a dick that makes him, he's still being a dick. Nice repurposing of pepper spray and of Jim's dismissiveness though. Well done.
1 Well, I can't criticize the writing, but I'm never that fond of fics in which Pam is dating someone other than Jim, so I find myself in a bit of a fix. I liked this, and I think you do an excellent job, but I must admit I'm certainly rooting for a JAM ending rather than where we are now...that said, you do a really good job of motivating Pam for this encounter, so well done.
1 I mean, I didn't have real expectations but I thought you did a good job of explaining it. And I'm very intrigued to see where you go from here.
