Absolutey lovely. I don't know what it is, but I always picture Pam wearing a yellow dress at some point too! I actually put her in a vintage yellow dress in one of my stories...not sure what it is about her and yellow! Jim seems to dig it too! And there was something about him counting the seams...and then there it was on the floor..::sigh:: this was so lovely. I needed this.

But now, now he felt like he could not breathe deeply enough to inhale her scent, he could not open his eyes widely enough to see her beauty, he could not listen hard enough to fully hear her laughter.   Because it was her.   It was Pam.  

THAT was beautiful. My absolute favorite part! Thanks so much for this story!

He'd also extracted the splinter almost painlessly, talking to her in a low voice the whole time - about stupid things, like whether or not Dwight used any kind of product in his hair, or if Kelly drew hearts around her signature.

In doing so, he'd successfully deflected her attention from the pain - something he'd do again and again in the months to come until he couldn't handle it anymore. And ironically, that was when his pain became hers.

BEAUTIFUL. Just so completely true to the characters. Lovely.

More!More!More!!! Ugh...this was such a moving scene...Jim struggling not to cry when Pam was. ::sigh::

Oh please oh please update this soon! Something tells me Jim won't stand for her not answering the phone and may show up on her doorstep?? eeek! Maybe?? LOVE IT!

LOVED THIS SO MUCH! Fun, sexy, romantic! And I loved how LONG it was (that's what she said). Just loved that I could scroll and scroll and scroll and still have more to read! This was great! Thank you so much for this....and now i want some chocolate..hmm...

Author's Response: I didn't have any plans for another chapter, but I have been thinking about doing a baby!fic in the future - stay tuned!

What an awesome ending for an awesome story! First off, Dwight arriving was PERFECT. I have imagined Dwight sleeping with a HAM radio (not that I've imagined Dwight in bed - I just realized how yuck that sounded). But the dialogue here between jim and dwight and then dwight and pam was just spot on and freaking HILARIOUS. I laughed out loud several times. And then of course Jim showing up at Pam's place - just not being able to be away from her for one more minute - perfect. Oh how I enjoyed this story! Can't wait for the epilogue. You rock!

"How he hesitated 100 times but didn't let her hesitate even once." Ok, I literally GASPED when I read that. That was just so profoundly stated, and something I never really thought about from that angle. Just a wonderfully candid view of how things went down and I'm glad Pam got to vent. It seemed to me that Jim wanted to be the one to vent and then wanted her to be the one to just admit that she was in love with him too. I'm glad we got so much more out of it than that. They deserved a scene with this level of honesty. LOVED IT. I can't wait to see what happens now that they've been so honest...hmm...a little lovin?

You are so right about JIm. He had the talk all planned out in his head, and Pam was *not* cooperating, which-- good for her, right? They definitely had to have a "fight" before... well, you'll see in the next chapter!
