I like that we (the audience and Katy) got a little more closure here. While I like that Jim was a real dick to Katy (his anguish was palpable and it made it a very real moment), I think he would feel bad and try to fix it, at least a little bit. Great idea, fabulous execution!

It doesn't feel like anything is missing to me. This has amazing details, spot-on characterization, and an authentic melancholy that reflects the whimper that the Pam/Roy relationship ends with. It's tightly crafted from begining to end, and it almost made me cry. So, yay!

Seriously, though, you're hitting all of the emotional notes dead-on. Of course Jim would be unnerved by Michael's revelation, of course Pam would have to 'fess up, of course she'd feel more betrayed than he would - because Pam is used to having all of Jim, and Jim is used to taking what he can get from Pam. Also, YAY for the return of "good" Michael. I love that he lurks inside the buffoon.

Whooooo. Wow. This is so perfect for them it hurts. Right up to the end, Pam jerks him around (although not in a bad way this time!). I love the little glimpse of Michael and Dwight, but this is all about Pam being smart enough, finally, to see that all she has to be is brave enough to reach out to him. Nice.
