Okay, first of all I'm a guy-are there any others writing here? Yes, I am of course in love with Jenna Fischer and with the fictional character she has created. And I would totally have a beer and watch some hoops with Jim Halpert.
I've never written romantic stuff in my life; this show just brings it out of me. My stories here are sort of little daydreams that seem somehow therapeutic to me. You can usually count on happy endings from my stuff; plenty of heartache on the actual show.

10 Well, I have the same old big grin on my face that I always have after reading your patented perfect fluff. Fluff isn't the right word exactly, though, this is vivid and wonderful stotytelling.

10 I always expect to read something great from you and you never disappoint. This is fluffy, sure, but there is substance to it. I read it last night and found myself still thinking about it today. We should all be so lucky to be with someone who makes us believe in ourselves.

10 Oh, hell yeah. That's what I'm talking about. Clever, really nice economical writing, poweful ending. When she came (the second time, in his bed instead of against the wall in the hallway)... That's one hell of a clause. Super job. Really good.
She looked over the boxes with wide eyes, overwhelmed by all the choices. Words like clear and easy were jumping out at her and she had no idea what to do because this was the furthest thing from clear or easy that she had ever done.

I've been remiss in reading this all along and not reviewing. It was really outstanding. You did a great job capturing their chemistry; you wrote a lot of really nifty dialogue. Also, while it was fluffy and sweet, it still felt real, even the weding epilogue. Really well done.

He was well aware of the fact that what he was contemplating (no, planning) could result in the loss of his job; after all, the very definition of a documentary stipulated that the cameramen not alter the natural course of events or become actively involved with the subjects in any way.
Even more than that, though, he understood that to do this would be to tread a dangerous line; it was rather like playing god in some ways.
What if Jim could see what we've seen?

I'm interested to see where you take this. Like many of us I imagine, I wonder what would have happened if Pam had kept seeing Jim day after day, knowing he was in love with her. If Jim could have hung in there just a little while...anyway, looking forward to your take.
10 Oh, that is some top quality fluff right there. That earned an immediate "Add Author to Favorites" Couldn't have possibly been more heartwarming or adorable. If I'm the biggest sap in the world for loving it then so be it. And I'm not asking for the epilogue, I'm demanding it.

10 A fitting conclusion to a masterpiece. I particularly enjoyed the revisiting of their past moments and letting them both finally in on what was going on for the other. And of course the last line is brilliant, just a perfect summation. Bravo.
10 When I saw the new chapter was up, I actually gasped. The power and the glory of this...I can't do it justice.

You made them work so hard t get here, but the payoff was worth it.

Hey, thanks so much brokenloon! It's a different technique for me to map out the entire arc before I begin the story; usually I'll start with either an image or a line or a simple concept, and let the story just go wherever it will. So this will be an interesting experiment; I hope it works. ;o)

10 Love this...I really hope on the show that Karen pulls something like this off, realizes it just isn't there and ends it with compassion and dignity. You've given her a compassion and maturity here that few people possess, but I still think it's a fair take, and anyway even if you do give her a shade too much credit it's a refereshing change from too little.
And Pam's note...I was thinking before I read this chapter that she needed to be braver, clearer, becuase that note was too vague and too easy for Jim to interpret just like yu made him interpret it. There's a lesson, I think; if you're going to open your heart, open it all the damn way. I'll be refreshing often until I see Chapter 9. Thank you so much for generously sharing your talent.
I really hope so, too, brokenloon. I deliberately wrote the note as unclear just so that Jim wouldn't really know what to think of it - glad it came off that way. (I was afraid his confusion might come off as contrived.)

10 Uggh, this hurts so good. I'm pathetically weak-hearted when it comes to reading angst, but I'm putting my faith in you that there wil be somethig to smile about in the end. As for the writing itself...I've just run out of superlatives. So evocative and sharp, so many well chosen phrases, such a natural flow.

Listen, I'm shameless about writing the angst. I really love to write fluff and humor, but I find the angst more compelling. (And for some reason, this freaking story will not leave me alone - which is quite annoying given that I have to, you know, work for a living.)
I will say this about this particular fic: It's sort of wish fulfillment for me, because with as much angst as we're getting on the show (and with so much left unspoken), I would find just a big confrontation between Jim and Pam to be extremely satisfying. (And we know they're capable of getting heated with each other - ur, no pun intended - from Boys and Girls.)
So that's what this is ultimately building toward - and it'll pave the way for a resolution, I promise. (Probably isn't wise to give away the ending, but really, who am I kidding?)

That was great stuff, obviously. Superb realism and feel for the characters, and a gratifying payoff.
Pam and Jim decide to get it out of their system...Literally. This idea just wouldn't get out of head, especially after all the fight fics, I figure there has to be another way to get rid of the sexual tension- why not actual 'casual' sex. Oh and it's going to really backfire. P.S. This is way fluffier than my usual stuff AND almost finished too. So there's that.

You're one of the best writers around and to have you working in my preferred genre of smut laden fluffly-ending jam has been a real treat. The story was a delight from start to finish and deserves all the recognition it has received.
