I'm switching to Yes on beta-reader, because I should have more time now that I've finished my own recent story and I'll probably take a break from writing. I don't know how many requests will come from that, so I reserve the right to change back to No if I get overwhelmed. :) But I am an unrepentant grammar Nazi, and have edited a LOT in the past, so I'm totally up for a little beta.

I'm pretty sure my boyfriend would rather have the Wii Neo (I don't even know what that is, but he has the regular Wii, so I'm sure that's next), but Jim is so sweet in this. And how perfectly fitting that Michael would sing "Having My Baby." LOL!

Well, it's a widely-known fact that shacking up leads to true love, so I wholeheartedly agree with this plan. ;)

Okay, so, I am actually teary right now, and that never happens to me. But I could just see that video in my head, and it's so easy to imagine how that would make Jim feel, and...gah! So good!

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooh! Well, color me intrigued.
Still with you, but I'm a little confused with the pronouns... Like, okay, in this line:
“I knew that I had to stop him, to stall him, because even though Roy told me that he had no intention of shooting him, Roy was too unpredictable drunk, so I stood in front of him and wouldn’t let him leave.”
Pam is talking about Roy intending to shoot Jim, right? And she's speaking to Jim, so why does she say "him" (the "him" I bolded)? There's another instance in this paragraph:
“Then he started getting even madder thinking that I was defending him, and I guess…I don’t know why maybe Roy heard something but he started saying that maybe he was in the house…that maybe I was still seeing him. I tried to convince Roy that he wasn’t here but then…Oh God…”
Maybe I'm just reading it wrong, but that didn't make sense to me. But other than that I'm still loving the story. :)
sorry if it's confusing the premise is that Pam doesn't want Karen to know who Adele's real father is so she keeps his name ambigious. What happened is that Roy doesn't intend to shoot Jim but he's taking the gun to go scare him. Pam defends Jim which makes Roy even madder, then Roy hears a noise in the house and he starts thinking Jim is in the house (remember he's really drunk) and then Roy hears a crash and he fires in the direction of the crash accidentally.

It all starts with fun jeans! in the garbage can and ends with Casual Friday dead by the third week of November, in the year of 2005. Also known as the most tragic prank Jim and Pam ever pulled.
Spoilers through The Client (season 2). The premise is that sometime after The Client casual Fridays were seemingly abolished, as we have now seen the gang in work clothes on Fridays a couple of times. This story attempts to explain what happened to put an end to Michael's beloved casual day.. I've been re-bitten by the writing bug so hopefully I can complete my unfinished stories before it runs out..

I love how Jim can have that great weekend with Karen and have it all swept away by one look from Pam. I mean, I love it because it's realistic--it's never easy, like there's just one person in the world for you and you find each other at the exact right time...it just doesn't happen. So even though I want Jim and Pam together, I like that you've accepted and even fleshed out the obstacles in their way.
