I thought I was just here to read, but I guess I ended up writing a little. My bad. :)
I'm switching to Yes on beta-reader, because I should have more time now that I've finished my own recent story and I'll probably take a break from writing. Ooooooh. This is really good. I love Pam's reaction to being with Jim, because I think there's no way she didn't have thoughts like that on the show, even though they had her being shocked when Jim said he was in love with her. I think it's more likely that she's had a lot of sweet moments like this where she saw a glimmer of something more beautiful that she could have.

Aw. So sad, so bittersweet. If I didn't know Jim was coming back after this, I'd just be depressed, but knowing he does come back, I really enjoyed Pam's astuteness about her feelings.

Awwww! Perfect. Pam's recreation of Casino Night in her drawing was a complete surprise to me--a wonderful surprise! I never saw that coming, and it was just perfect.
And Jim's drawing was hilarious. I had Jim drawing stick figures of him and Pam in one of my stories, so I totally had a SQUEE! moment when I read that. Yay for stick people!
And I LOVE how Pam didn't need Jim to hold that position for 4 hours but made him do it anyway:

You know what? I think it is possible to kiss someone without really kissing him. Because it really felt that way in this story. Sigh. So much potential in those two! They need to just jump on that!

Aw! Well, it has to happen, and I think you wrote it pretty believably. Karen has every right to be upset with Jim, and vice versa. They're just not meant to be together. When Jim is really being himself, he's totally not the kind of guy Karen would want--even though, if she's honest with herself, I think it's his prankster ways that attracted her to him in the first place. Well, that and his TOTAL HOTNESS.

Sigh. I wish this had happened, although I don't really like to see Pam cheating. I mean, yeah, she was never meant to be with Roy, but still. But don't get me wrong--I loved the story! This is actually the first fic I've read that centers around The Fight, and it was great. I always thought it was just weird how they left that. I mean, we all know that Pam got flustered because she was enjoying herself too much, but it was kind of bizarre that she didn't apologize to Jim later...or vice versa.
