Written in response to the Evening Coming (aka the Scarf) challenge. Not usually one for prompts, but this one got me thinking.
Typical slow days at the office with the Ladies of Dunder Mifflin.
This is from Karen's point of view - my attempt at getting into her head and fleshing out just what's going on there. (Perhaps I should clarify that this is decidedly not a Crazy!Karen fic.)
And while it's obviously centered on Karen, Jim and Pam are very much in the background.
It'll ultimately be a two-parter, probably no more than that. Seriously. I mean it this time.

Jim's with Karen. Pam's with Roy. Misery all around until Pam fights to find her passion again. In her art and in her love life.
Jim comes back, Pam's late, and it's time to talk. Takes place in the summer between S3 and S4.Wishful thinking for a Jim/Pam fan who's convinced it'll all work out, but is sick of waiting.
One part for each season. Pam's p.o.v. Nothing could be more innocent than a freckle, right?(Chapter 1 )Jim's been feeling like his & Karen's relationship is getting rocky. He looks to his best friend for some laughs.
(Chapter 2) But before he knows it, his relationship with Karen dies, but a spark rekindles with someone else.
