i like it i love it i want some more of it
Author's Response: Are you listening to country music? ;-) Next in the series: Jim's forearms - where have they gone?

Your explanation for Jim's gauntness was very believable, and the cheek-o-meter had me laughing out loud. Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks - here's hoping those cheeks are back in full force by the end of this season.

Oh, I loved this line: He felt like black and white compared to her color wheel. Sweet fic, Moxie :)
Author's Response: Oh, thanks so much! Of course, what I like most is that from Pam's view, she probably didn't feel quite that colorful. But Jim thought she was because he's so crazy about her. (the sap!) ;-)

Wow...love the hussy shout-out. Very cute.
Author's Response: thanks so much~!

Aw, so cute! Is it bad that I really like the other cheeks, too?
Author's Response: Not at all - but that's another fanfic waiting to be written! ;-)

The only way to get The Measure of (my) Happiness reading this story would be on a scale that weighs tractor-trailers! So sweet and so them.
Author's Response: aw, thanks, kaystar! I appreciate the feedback, because I think there's a fine line between fluffy and sappy. If the story keeps their chemistry intact, it's fluffy. If it goes too far - it's sappy, and nobody wants that. ;-)

Adorableness x 10. Gotta love those cheeks. :)
Author's Response: thanks x 100!! I tell you, it's easy to get inspired looking at those cheeks. Just another attempt to pretend I'm Pam, that's all this is....

It's uncanny how you can make something so stupidly simple just so...AWESOME.
Seriously. You rock. So hard. (twss!)
Thank you so much.
cheers.

Author's Response: Amalia - thanks for the AWESOME review. You sure know how to boost my ego! And really, Jim's just a beautiful collection of simple things, isn't he??

The cheekometer... a very clever idea.... hum, i totally want to use this idea as a way to get federal grant money. when asked how did i think of this amazing new study i will say all because of a tv show and its lovely fans who post silly lil fics such as this.
cept i won't. well, if i actualyl did apply, and got accepted i would. but, i think my grant should read something more about what i am actually studying and researching than this.
wow, yeah, that was just...
simply good story. ignore all the other stuff
Author's Response:
LOL - you are too funny! How I wish I could find a way to get a grant to study Jim Halpert for real! (Of course, I guess it would help if he WAS real....what am I saying? Of course he's real. He is. He IS.)
Anyway, I'd love to take credit for the cheek-o-meter, but I believe colette invented it over on the TWoP forum for JK. It was, however, used with permission! :-)

cheek-o-meter I love it. I want those cheeks back too. I was watching season 2 and he had so much cheekiness to him.
Author's Response: You can thank colette for the cheek-o-meter. And I feel good that those cheeks will continue to make a comeback!!

YAY!!! That was awesome Moxie! Thank you, thank you, for such a wonderful cheek fic! And I said before that I liked S3 cheeks better than S2 or S1... well, I take it back. Thanks to you, I'm lovin' those pinchable full cheeks!
Author's Response: Well, then my work here is done! I'm glad I've helped you to see the light!! :-)

On my personal Cuteness Meter (tm), which measures the cuteness of a story on a range of 1 to 10, this registers an 11. :D
And as an extra added bonus, there's also great lines like this one:
He felt like black and white compared to her color wheel.
Loved all of this. Thank you for sharing it.
Author's Response: thanks - I've never gotten an 11 before!! :-)

Yay! Smiley, happy Jim and Pam! Woo!
Too much good stuff to quote, but just know that I'm grinning, now, too. Thanks for that!
Author's Response: Hurray - so glad you liked it!!
Date: February 06, 2007 09:34 am Title: Chapter 1
Love, love, love it!
Fave part: His once more soft and rounded cheek. Her Jim.
Awww. and the cheek-o-meter. Ingenious. We're such hussies.
Author's Response: So glad you liked it! And remember, colette is the owner of the cheek-o-meter; I just borrowed it!

Aww, Jim cheeks! *love*
This was so sweet! Great concept and title -- I love the idea of his cheeks being a tangible measure of his happiness. I can definitely believe Pam would miss his cheek-y smile. And of course his mom would notice and get all motherly over the loss of his kissable cheeks.
I really liked the idea that they staggered their breaks and trips to the vending machine, so they would have more opportunities to spend time together.
The cheek-o-meter banter was adorable! And it's so believable that they would finally admit their feelings under the guise of a cute, teasing conversation like that. Yay for cheek fic!
Author's Response: thanks so much, shroom!! I'll make sure I don't let the hussies down when I next take on those forearms!
Date: February 06, 2007 09:14 am Title: Chapter 1
Utterly adorable, moxie! And I say that as both a reader and a board certified Cheekologist. Love his mom lamenting his former kissable cheeks (too cute.) You did the profession proud.
Author's Response: I feel proud to say that I'm now a fully-accredited cheekologist in-training. Won't be long now until I can get to pass those boards. Somehow I doubt I'll mind studying for that!!

Hee, This is so cute! What a great idea for a story!
Author's Response: thank you! Wait until I can get to my next body part: the forearms!!! :-9

Man, those hussies are just insatiable. At least when you climb the JK/JH tree, you get the prize of those cheeks at the top! This is, as always, very sweet, and a bit cheeky (DOH!). I am still a bit disappointed you didn't go with any of these titles but I'm still incredibly honored to have you use one of my suggestions!
"Pam Beesly and the Great Cheek-o-Meter Experiment" or "Close Encounters of a Cheeky Kind".....
Her Jim, indeed. Thanks for this on a morning when the cold and wind gives everybody rosy, pinchable cheeks.
Author's Response: heh - not enough people in this world have Jim Halpert cheeks. And all your titles were awesome!!
