They say there are 5 stages of grief - Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance. You'll see Pam go through them - with some future fluff every other chapter to keep you from pulling your hair out. There will be 10 chapters in all. :)

Good storyline, but the story needs to be reviewed for spelling, grammar and consistency. The back-and-forth between perspectives makes the story very difficult to read.

Gosh, I know. But given Pam's frequent deference to Roy on the show (especially about the design internship) I thought it would be plausible for a 20 year-old Pam from 1954 to be way behind the curve of feminism.

This is a little story that takes place a few weeks after 'Casino Night'. It mostly concerns Pam, and contains alot of inner dialogue. Michael has engineered an 'Inspiration Poster' using a photo of Pam, and now she has to deal with fallout. It does bring her to a realization though...

7 I don't know if it's because I just watched a tape of my aunt speaking at the 9/11 Ground Zero memorial, but this made me tear up. I think the lightness of the phrasing (it is reminiscent of Dr. Seuss or a childhood prayer) belies the depth of the message. Thanks for sharing.

I have decided to expand on the idea of Codename: Chicken Plate. This will be my take on the emails, phone calls and conversations we missed over the summer and for the first part of Season 3 (until Pam and Jim actually communicate themselves) My idea is that Jim knows exactly what happened between Pam and Roy and knows exactly what is going on in Pam's life right now even if WE don't see it.
