Really the crazy astronaut woman was the main motivation for this entire fic - though I'm really surprised no one else has pointed out the obvious applicability of that triangle to this triangle. Truth be told, I had that segment stewing in my mind for over a week while I tried in vain for inspiration for other scenes, only putting the other four together over the last two days.
Pam takes care of Jim after he'd been hit by Roy. Takes place after "Cocktails".
Just when I think I've read all of the post-Cocktails scenarios, you write this and just take my breath away! Wow, seriously... I love the way Pam tells Jim about Roy, I love that Jim tries to pass his injury off as "a nosebleed" at first, I love the total Raiders of the Lost Ark moment with the kissing where it hurts bit. Yeah, you got my two weaknesses, Jim Halpert and Indiana Jones-era Harrison Ford. You win at life.

Before, during, after (peas, waffles.) Post-Cocktails...but no fighting.I finally got a chance to read this and I must say.. thank you. This made me really happy. The pacing was perfect. A lot of times I don't like "Jim and Pam sleep together right away" fic, but this was so real and believable and appropriate in every way... you've definitely shown me that it can be done right! It was really hot, but not in a gratuitous way (if that makes sense?). I always bow down to those who can really write good smutty fic, and trust me this was good!
Thank you for this :) It was fantastic! I love the description of Jim's day, especially the part about avoiding Michael's tears and Dwight the ninja turtle (he'd probably be Donatello, he was the serious one, haha). Loved how Pam makes him dinner, but he does expect her to. Just great all around!

This is a collection of standalone short pieces linked only by the use of a color. The acronym ROYGBIV, in case anyone has forgotten high school optics, stands for Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet and describes the colors of a rainbow. None of these pieces is linked to another; they are not chapters in a story. I'm working on some character development/backstory ideas and thought they'd be fun to play with here.
At the very least, one should carry nunchucks.
Dwight heard a scurrying sound in a corner and wondered if Angela would let him have one of her kittens to train into a warrior cat. Probably not. She was squeamish about the strangest things.
Heehee, great lines! What an intricate and interesting picture of Dwight, he is so hard to write for sometimes but you captured him really well. Also, really great concept overall, can't wait to read more!
