I recently graduated from college and now work as an editor for a local publishing house.
I know my writing isn't anywhere close to brilliant, but I've decided to put it out there anyway, hoping that it will brighten someone's day, even if it's just my own.
Typical slow days at the office with the Ladies of Dunder Mifflin.
9 YES!!! I'm so glad Girly-girl is back. And what an awesome chapter to get us back into it. Jim and Pam as Dwight's future in-laws is hysterical! Not to mention that they get to stare at each other through batted eye-lashes. I also loved Meredith's first line "your stomach can cushion the blow"! Awesome!

Author's Response: Sound of Music meets 'The Office'.... Pam would be just the sweetest Maria ever. Karen would be great as the elegant rival. Imagine her in ballgowns! Dwight would be the Nazi kid. Oddly enough, I know the Nazi kid's cousin. She says he sells hot tubs in Hollywood now. So there you go!
Okay, at this point I would pay an insane amount of money to see the Jim/Pam/Dwight scene acted out on my television. I LOVED all the hand holding and the little gestures. So cute. Plus, you know, Dwight's there being Dwight so obviously that's a major bonus! :) Seriously though, I'm loving all the Jam in the last few chapters!
Author's Response: I so wish I had any filmmaking skills whatsoever because there are so many scenes. Hiring - Tall, lanky, green-eyed guy with flippy hair. I especially would like to film the visual ones like all the MTT Smut. All of them. Starting with 'A' and working my way to 'Z'.
Nice Muggins! But I have to admit I'm a little sad that Jim and Pam don't get to sit in the conference room holding hands and such anymore. However, I might be less disappointed if I knew they were going to exchange hand-holding for more "exciting" activities. (Or in other words kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss...*continues chanting*) Just sayin.

Y!A!Y! I couldn't even! finish a word! without! pausing! to put in! some exclamation points!!!! That's how excited I am about the fact that there's a new chapter of girly-girl! I seriously don't know how you do it, but this just keeps getting better and better and better and better and better and better and better!! I love Roy's new storyline and the cute Jam. Plus this story now has a nostalgic feeling to it, like oh yeah, I remember when Kevin got those Krispy Kremes and Michael got bailed out of jail all those many months ago. :) And Jim and Karen are still a thing. And Roy is clueless. Good times, good times. Well, okay, so some of those were angsty times on the show, but in girly-girl it was all fodder for fun and giggles. Which is yet another thing I love about you. The angst into hilarity factor is always very high for your stories. Okay, I feel like I'm just rambling now, but it's been so long since I've gotten to review girly-girl that I had all kinds of pent up reviews just waiting to be unleashed and finally having the opportunity is just dawesome! Anyway, carry on... ;)

This was really fun! I guess I'm in a drabble mood, but I really enjoyed just having little bits of each character. I particularly liked Ryan and Stanley and Angela's chapters. Well done!

10 Upon rereading, I can confirm that I am in love with every word of this epic chapter. All 10,000 plus, or whatever it ended up being.
What a great first date story that doesn't actually count as a "first date" story because when you started it no one had any idea that such a thing would exist at this point. ;)

That's freaking awesome! I really loved all the fights, and I'm not usually a fan of violent smackdowns.
So I know this is way old, but I just discovered it today and read the whole thing and completely fell in love with it. I particularly liked all the tension that built up between them when they were living together but weren't actually together yet. Nice job! ;)

I really love this story and I love that you're using drabbles. I think it helps get to the point, and adds an interesting twist. (and yeah, yeah TWSS) but I swear it wasn't intended.

Author's Response: Those are actually three of my favorites as well, particularly Jan. It made me a little sad that they turned her *so* psycho in the finale, but I do honestly believe that there's always been at least a tiny bit of crazy in her.
