So poetically evocative of Pam's state of mind following that wonderous proposal...reading your words I envisoned Pam, swirling almost breathlessly in Jim's arms as the reality of just having said 'yes' to becoming his wife began to fully sink in...just a beautiful moment!

Okay, so I'm a guy...so I'm not going to get all 'gah gah' about Jim's freckle.  But, I do love the idea of exploring what's going on in Pam's (seasons 1 and 2) mind about just what it is she thinks is going on between her and the young paper salesman.  And using something as seemingly insignificant as a single freckle (but a freckle that seems to pack an obviously sexy wallop) as the focal point of that exploration is both clever and brilliant...and, in your able hands, great fun as well.

I like it.  A bit of a different take on so many of the "first date" stories (mine included)...but definitiely verrrry plausible.  I'm looking forward to the next installment.

This story is developing so nicely.  And even though Jim is nervous and awkward, it's those little gestures like not letting go of Pam's hand or unconsciously running his thumb over the back of her knuckles that shows us how his feelings are developing.  And Pam...well, she seems more than ready to let Jim know how she feels.  And oh, I really liked that whole exchange between Jim and Dorothy at Wegmans.  You're definitely pulling me into this story.  Great job!

I'm just catching up on some stories I've been holding onto while otherwise preoccupied and I just wanted to say how much I liked your concept in this story.  A beautiful constant throughout Pam's life.  Well done!
