She points toward the coffee pot, almost reassuring him that it's safe to take, no chance of hands crashing into each other, no touching involved. Like the coast is clear, and she's telling him to go for it.

There was no way that Pam was in the hallway, crying. It seemed almost as absurd as Dwight comforting her. It was just not possible. Set during “Back From Vacation”
He knows she smiles behind her book when he gets up, stands behind her, puts his hands on her shoulders and tells her that she brings balance to the force.
This is my take on what happens when Pam finally says the words to Jim. For this story, the real problems happen following Pam's admission.

More alternate universe, but a lot different from my normal stuff. Still quite happy I think, but not as light and fluffy! I hope still enjoyable. :-) Jim and Pam reflect on being together and all they're learning about one another - they're both amazed.
Eventually someone will catch on that she goes with him on all of his big sales calls. Slightly AU, slightly wishful thinking.
