10 It may not be a date, but whatever it is, it's lovely. I like the way Jim doesn't say anything, just 'claims' Pam via body language. And how he's still tentative enough to be unsure he should act possessive...very Jim-like. Ending with them subtly walking closer together, smiling, joking around was perfect. Just enough of a shift in mood. Very, very sweet.

10 What a charming, lovely way to end this - you really handled the dark to light story arc well. Especially liked their amusement at being 'the grossest mommy and daddy.' That's high praise for a long married couple.
Author's Response: Thank you. It was hard for me to conceive of a problem that would drive them to a dark place so I imagined they would have a strong enough relationship to recover eventually. (BTW-as I read your review I suddenly wondered - do kids still even say "gross" anymore?! )

Glad that you don't seem to be prolonging Jim's agony too badly...though there are clearly plenty of issues left to make him miserable (is it wrong that I find him so sexy when he's melancholy?) Also - loved the bits about him dealing with all the kid wrangling in Pam's absence. So sweet and sad and Jim.

10 Holy smoke. When smut is well written and stays true to character - as you've done here - it's a wonderful thing. Love the way you tied Roy in at the end ('Pam, come on!') - clever. Any more of these on the horizon?
Author's Response: Wow, I'm so glad you liked it! I'm not particularly prolific (I'm more of a reader than a writer) but sometimes the plot bunnies won't leave me alone. I'll give it some thought.
Sometimes you double check to see if you can hear a dial tone.

10 What a great, fun way to start my morning. The dialogue between Dwight and Jim is fantastic - 'Serendipity waits for no man' especially tickled me. Good idea to turn down the steam-o-meter in the first part, so you have somewhere to go by the end...hmmm, where could that be? Will stay tuned.
