Nicely done.
I have to admit to slightly enjoying when my husband has to go out of town overnight for this very reason. Not that I don't miss him, but it's definitely a luxurious feeling when you're used to half of a queen mattress!

I really love first date fics, and this was so well done. Really, you just have to feel for both of them. How do you date someone you're already in love with? How weird would that be?

Author's Response: Hey, jkfan - it would be extremely weird, esp. if that someone was previously engaged/dating someone else/your best friend/someone you hadn\'t spoken to much in a year, etc. etc. It was all of those factors that made me think that things could be a little more complicated that what we\'ve seen in so many first-date fics.
