Bio:
After being raised by feral dogs deep in the heart of Appalachia for my first 17 years, I rescued a group of imperiled socioanthopologists from certain doom at the hands of some moonshiners in an undisclosed mossy holler of my homeland. Silly with gratitude, they taught me to read and eventually, to make letters with a pencil. I'm continuing that learning process by writing fan fiction here.
As you can see, I'm still having trouble with run-on sentences and cliches. Yet I've come so far.

Oh, and I love music - especially jazz.

I really enjoyed your story, and I love that Jim was finally able to verbalize what he needed to Pam. It doesn't come easily to him.

Many years ago Mr. Jazz and I did the LDR thing and it's hard to stay in sync some days. Being able to just say "I need this right now because I've had a crappy day" without the other person wondering about it is a great help.

Great job.

Great job, I loved this. I really felt like I was "in the room" with them, and when the bluetooth clicked off I was pretty anxious myself.

The “With special needs.” made me laugh out loud.

Please, keep writing.

Author's Response: Thanks, jazzfan. I was going to have Pam say something more politically incorrect but that felt out of character. \r\nPoor Jim; he looked so conflicted in that scene. I want Pam to do something to show him how committed she is to him.

Perfect.

Best line:
"No, he doesn’t know. You have to tell him."
This is the most important part of the Fancy New Beesly. I love how she called him on the hanging up when he got a bad review, too. Jim is making progress in the same areas, but he's a stride behind FNB. I thought you tapped just the right tone - very realistic. May it actually happen.

Author's Response: Hey jazzfan! I like to think there are sometimes those moments where they each realize they have to TELL each other what they are thinking. It seems like mostly they do that (thank God). But I agree, that bugged me when Jim hung up on her and I didn\'t think she\'d believe him. Thanks so much for reviewing! As you know, it means a lot to get feedback. :)

I was excited to see a new part to this, and I was not disappointed. Definitely worth the wait. Jim's thought process through all this is perfect - his initial honest reaction and then tempering it to do the right thing. It's especially sweet knowing what happens afterward. Another great job.

Author's Response: Thank you! I had a hard time thinking that they\'d be so open to Pam\'s dad coming to stay, so I wanted to portray that decision making (or as you said, thought process), as honestly as possible. I\'m so happy you enjoyed it. :)

Another great chapter. I can definitely seeing Jim not being able to contain himself, after waiting all those Valentines Days to finally get to give her stuff. And very funny now that she knows how Roy felt.

Most excellent line:

This may be my favorite chapter yet and the title is perfect. No serious ambition, and they're happy about it. *laughs*

Very cute, Little Comment. I thought it was funny when Pam compared Conan's characteristics to Jim, and her going for the character Indy rather than the actor. And I can totally see Jim liking Natalie Portman.

Hugh Laurie? No Pam, just No.

Thanks for the Monday am smile, LC.

Author's Response: Thanks jazzfan! Glad you liked it and it gave you a grin (TWSS!). ;) I\'ve always thought Pam was a House fan, and Hugh is very appealing in his dickitude on that show... :)

Bwahahahahahaahha. (Only thing is, I can't see Pam getting that embarassed over "breaking wind" as Michael calls it.)

My favorite was the comic books - perfect - and priceless. And in order.

Great fun, please keep 'em coming.

Author's Response: Thanks! And after awhile a toot\'s a toot, but that first one - especially if you\'re in bed? - is always a biotch. ;) Glad you liked the comics bit!

I was so excited when I stopped by tonight and saw you'd added another chapter, and this one did not disappoint. Jim's reaction to his "hopeless" situation is spot on perfect. The last lines were so painful (in a good writing sort of way).

And just because:
“Is it supposed to be this hard?”

This is my favorite of these yet, and that's saying a lot, because they're all good.

(ps, do you mean "For letting "me" come? in that last paragraph?)

This is wonderful. I love the beginning quote too, because I think that's really, really the truth.

After watching the scene this was exactly the kind of mental process I imagined Pam going through. It wasn't actually whether she "liked" the physical attributes of the house, it was everything it meant that Jim did what he did that she loved.

Guh. Awesome job.

Author's Response: Absolutely. I don't think her enthusiasm and near tears at the end had anything at all to do with the actual house itself.  It was just the genuine, amazing gesture of love BEHIND it.  Thanks so much for reading and responding!

I loved how Jim was sympathetic to Michael missing Holly, and it made me realize that Pam pretty much missed the whole "Holly" thing.

I'm anxious to read more.
