oh i really love this! i can't wait to see what Karen says. this is really wonderful so far. I love watching Jim and Pam interact happily!

so. good. wow. seriously. this chapter was amazing. i am always amazed at how beautifully you write. there's so much emotion, you feel like you're IN the story. and even though you didn't create the characters, you made them your own. it's a beautiful story of hope and love. the forget-me-not is PERFECT. really great chapter and beautiful fic!

no, i really like that it's just her trying to get back to normal. you totally feel that after a huge crisis, and you wrote it very well. 

hahaha! we all know that pam's mom is playing matchmaker! she's always wanted pam to be with jim. at least subconciously. even in her grief she's trying to take care of her daughter. i think it's preciously wonderful. can't wait to see what happens next. 

i also like jim remembering again what a jerk he's been to pam the past few weeks. he'll come around eventually.

Well, I would've thought that Jim wouldn't be that cruel but some of his actions of late have been pretty mean, even if it was to protect himself.  Glad you liked it! :)

i love it! you've done such a great job with this story. the doc has become this jam-shipper that actually gets to interact with them and it's so much fun. and sweet of course :) great chapter! 

*sigh* i love this chapter. these two are so precious and i love that the therapist has started joining in on the sarcasm and jokes. it's so much fun and so much happiness all at one time :) i love it.

Glad you enjoyed it! I wanted to make the therapist more than just a third party that just sits there. The therapist gets along with them, disagrees with their methods and can point out flaws and strengths. I wanted the therapist to be a true character yet share the opinion of the JAM readers.

Author's Response: The medieval period is interesting because the concept of chivalry and the theory of love were just developing under the tutelage of that extraordinary 12th century woman, Eleanor of Aquitaine. I like the concept of knights on the fringe of society entering barbarous country and trying to mesh their code with the older codes of previous times. Flirting really only occurs when self-control is exhibited.... self-control was definitely not a virtue until the age of chivalry. Fascinating stuff.
